Which lodge to avoid at Sequia Lodge

We are thinking of staying at either Sequia Lodge or Newport Bay club , not Montana , and not Admiral.

Would anyone be able to offer any tips on which lodge to book at SL or NBC, or wgich ones to avoid. We don't wish to be too far from main hotel , for breakfast etc.

I don't think you can specifically book a lodge at the SL.

You can request a room somewhere I guess, though they can't guarantee to give you what you ask for.

The NPB is one large building, so you won't have to walk outside with that one as far as I am aware.

As for which lodge would be best, I'm afraid I can't answe that as I'm not familiar with the lodges (other than the fact that they're outside the main building).

Hello, with the Newport Bay Club, there are no "outside" rooms as it is a hotel so all are indoors. When you book, if you do not want to pay for the admirals you could request a room close to reception (but obviously you might not get it!). The hotel is very large so if you have a room furthest away from reception it can take ages!!!

We stayed in Yellowstone Lodge which was literally a 2/3 minute walk from reception. In fact I'd say we were closer to reception and the restaurants than when we stayed in the main building and it was certainly a lot closer walk to the parks than exiting the main building, there was a short cut which brought us out just by the bridge that crosses the river.

Yellowstone is where we stayed a couple of years ago and it was really convenient for everything. In fact I may give them a ring and see if I can at least put in a request for Yellowstone again for this year, can't do any harm in asking!
