Breakfast on Admirals Floor at Newport Bay Club

Hi all, I'm a Disneyland newbie taking my three sons and partner this Sunday

We are staying at the Newport Bay Club and have booked a room on the Admiral's floor. Having read people's reports about breakfast I'd really like to have it in our room rather than risk the crush. I'm about to call to book the Blue Lagoon for Sun eve; can I book the breakfast at the same time or do I have to sort that out upon check-in?

And a somewhat OT question but I'll put it here too - shall I attempt to speak French when I book the Blue Lagoon or just go straight for "parlez-vous anglais?"

Not sure about the breakfast but wish I'd read your thread first as I've just posted asking about the English/French divide when making a restaurant reservation, lol.

When you ring the restaurant reservation number, you get an option of pressing 1 if you speak french and pressing 2 if you speak english. I was worried about doing this as well but had no problems when I rang up yesterday. I am also going on sunday for 2 nights and staying on the admirals floor. How weird!

When we were there you ordered your breakfast the day before via a printed request form left in the room. We didn't get to use it as we had a special breakfast, no longer offered, but I assume you'd leave it at the Consierge desk.
