buzz lightyear meet n greet!!

I've never seen Buzz on a meet n greet anywhere. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, makes sense for him to be there with the Toy Story Land project. :)

Oh that's fantastic!!! My two are Buzz daft and not meeting him has been their only disappointment at Disney.

Roll on Sunday :yay: :yay:

WE were lucky to see Buzz in 2007 when we were there and he was doing an official meet and greet near Autopia but my little girl who was 5 at the time wasn't interested in the least in him.

Think she will be this year as she has started re-watching toystory again.

Same here we met Buzz during the official meet & greet 2007 but my son was too young to be interested. He is now 5 and a huge Buzz fan, this will make this trip even more special for him. :)

I can imagine the queue being extremely long but it will make a pleasant change from queuing to meet one of the princesses for my daughter.

Mind you will probably have to do that as well :rotfl::rotfl:

My little one has suddenly started to love Toystory...after years of me loving it.

Can't wait for Toystory land to be made.

We're going to make the Buzz ride a definate must this May.

That's awesome!

We met Buzz in October 2008 and that got Kacee into Toy Story. We now spend most of our time in Woody's Roundup and on Buss Lightyears Lazer Blast so being able to meet Buzz will give him and excuse to want to go to the Studio's. Hope it's still on in May!!

Hijacking the thread somewhat, the same schedule mentions "Once Upon a Time with Sleeping Beauty" happening 3 times a day. Never seen this mentioned before.... what is it? Can't you tell who has daughters and who has sons!!!!

We saw this last June - its a little play set to music, with Aurora, Prince Phillip and some dancers in costume. Its done in the castle courtyard (where the sword in the stone is). Very fluffy kitten - will appeal to Princess-lovers princess:

Cheers. Sounds awful..... but the girls will love it:laughing::laughing:

This sounds fab, Buzz made friends with Kyra last September and this spurred her love for Toy Story (she was orginially thought Buzz was the bad guy :lmao:) Now all she talks about is Buzz and Jessie lol.

We were lucky enough to meet Buzz and Woody in Pizza Planet on our very first visit way back in 1998 - and Jessie in 2001, again in Pizza Planet.

Always been a good place to see them, but was closed on our last visit, 2004.

Hope to see them again this time - my yongest absolutely loves all things Toy Story - can't wait :yay:

:yay::yay:Hi, we're just back and my kids got to meet buzz in the studios yesterday morning, there was virtully no queue at all, aboout 6 people if that - i couldn't understand it! My youngest son (3 in July), was so excited, Buzz is his favourite ride, as they were walking away he shouted to buzz 'i've got your gun!!!' as we'd just bought him the buzz laser gun, lol.

yey i hope they keep up that meet and greet. we only ever saw ash on the character express but we had missed it. it was going back up main street and ash ran the whole way after it calling to buzz. she was so excited lol

Yep we saw this although it did have a long queue on Sunday...

We got Buzz autograph (well, stamp) and photo at his meet n greet on Tuesday afternoon, he and the Ratatouille characters were alternating. We only waited around 10 minutes, and its a queued meet, so very civilised. Both the queue areas for Buzz and Ratatouille are shaded with young trees, very well designed for sunny weather :goodvibes.

We only waited for about 5 minutes the day before, to see Remy there too.

Where was this - the park itself?
Studio park for Buzz autograph and photo at his meet n greet on Tuesday afternoon?

We saw Buzz every day of our 5 day trip two weeks ago and he was also walking around the studios shaking hands with guests. He was really good.
