A free upgrade?

Here are some pictures of a Cat. 8. It should be almost the same as the 9 except 9's have smaller windows

This isn't true. They both have 48" diameter portholes except on deck 1; those have 2 smaller portholes.:goodvibes

Do anyone know what cat. have adjoining rooms?

You have to go to cat 10 or better to get connecting staterooms. At cat 11, you could get adjacent but they wouldn't connect. ok for older kids.
To get 2 cat 12s, there's no guarantee that they'll even be on the same deck; could be scattered all over the ship.

All of the cat 12s are on deck 2 forward. There are only 13 of them. Not sure if there are connecting ones or not though.

How was the cabin?

My big questions are
(1) Does it have a steamer trunk? I'm trying to anticipate how much storage we have, and what we might need to bring with us.
(2) How close is it to laundry?
(3) How is the noise level? I believe it is directly beneath a piano!

Thank you!

We were in 2110 just 2 doors down from 2106. We loved the room and location. We were very close to the Aft elevators/stairs so we had easy access to Animator's, Parrot Cay, Topsiders, and the drink station. The laundry rooms were close too, just up the hall. We had minimal noise. We would gladly pick this location again. However, for sake of savings, we booked a GTY 11B for our next cruise. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if we ended up in the same general location and totally thrilled if we got one of the OV rooms!
