First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Seven Deadly Threads

I believe that the first two times we cruised the information used to actually say something like "no jeans please," but now this is what the website says:

On 4-night cruises:
First night: cruise casual — no shorts, swimwear or tank tops
One pirate or tropical night (deck party)
One "dress-up night" — jacket for men, dress or pantsuit for women
Final night: cruise casual — no shorts, swimwear or tank tops

Dress code is a hot topic on the cruise boards here. You'll actually see people dressed in lots of ways, but "most" adults will likely not be wearing jeans in the dining rooms. You'll see some, but not most. Most men tend to wear khakis and most ladies wear crop pants, skirts, dresses, or slacks to dinner.

THANKS DODIE!

A tip for increasing your post count......post the punch line in a separate response.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 (going away before Tracy transfers my cabin to the dingy behind the ship)

Ok...confession time...

What is your favorite guilty pleasure CD? The CD that no matter how rotten you're feeling mood-wise, it always puts a smile on your face?

If I am angry at my DH ~ the old Kelly Clarkson CD... from a few years ago.

If I am just angry ~ Pearl Jam... ANYTHING

If I am depressed ~ the Pretty in Pink soundtrack.

Or I listen to Jim Gaffigan. His "hot pocket" skit makes me giggle every time.

I am sooooo lame.

I don't really understand why the whole dressup thing is such a problem. :confused3

I usually wear a collared shirt with Docker pants to dinner. No big deal.

Bring a sport coat for fun formal night and be done with it. :)

I never really thought this was a big deal.

I really like eating in the dining room for dinner. They sweep up your crumbs. :thumbsup2

My husband usually "tests" the waiter/waitress when we go out to eat. He'll take the straw paper and leave it crumpled at the end of the table. If they pick it up and take it away, he's a happy man.

My 'test' is how often I have an empty glass. I hate going to take a drink and having nothing but a slurp sound. :furious:

:lmao: That is funny. Speaking of going out to eat, I am starving.
