Garden Gril - Lower or upper level?

We have a ressie @ GG for dinner one night and from the pictures I saw, it looks like the lower level has tables and the upper level has booth. I do prefer a booth and so do my DS10 and DD7 I'm wondering which level is better.

Last I knew, the Garden Grill table service restaurant at the Land pavillion in Epcot was on the upper floor and had the revolving platform holding all the booths. The lower level was seating for the food court, which is counter service...

She means the actual levels in the restaurant.

There is no significant difference. You can tell them when you check in you prefer a booth but it could affect your wait.

Actually.... the upper level has high tables, and the lower level has booths. We've always been seated on the lower level for some reason (and we've eaten there a lot!). Go ahead and request a booth, though.

For the lower level we had a large curved booth for our party of 7, with the open side closest to the edge of the restaurant/overlooking the scenery.

we have sat in both places (upper tables, lower booths) and like the view of the scenery as we revolve better from the lower... but had better character interaction in the upper... i'm sure no matter which you get you'll ENJOY!

We sat on the upper level at a regular table ~ not high and not a booth.

Oh, I'm so sorry for my less than accurate information in my prior response - in the several times we've been there, we've only ever been in the booths and I never noticed other seating! Thank you for the eye-opener!

Are you able to see the scenery of The Land ride from both the upper and lower level seats? Or is it just one or the other?

We love the lower level. We feel like we have the entire restaurant to ourselves!

You'll be able to see everything from the upper level as well. There is a low wall, so make sure the little ones have a good line of sight.

absolutely! We feel the same way. The restaurant seems so quiet and subdued down there.

I think larger groups are seated in the lower level. Please correct me if I am wrong but doesn't the upper level seat only 4 or less?

We were a party of 7 and had 2 tables put together on the upper level. Of course we did have one handicapped person, so putting us on the lower level might have been more difficult.

It can be a bit difficult to get in and out for pictures if your in the booth. Just my experience.

This is very true...but I also REALLY liked the isolated feel of the booths in the lower level...as was posted before...it's like you are the only people in the place. It makes for a very calm and peaceful meal with the kids...which is saying something being your at WDW. There are not many places that offer that kind of peaceful meal that you can take the kids to. The character interaction is also some of the best I think.
