I have owned a DVC for a few years and have borrowed, rented, and burned through my points for the first few years. Finally, when planning our trip for this use year I am going to be able to bank over 100 points! I am slowing down now and not having to rent 2 brms helps. We even are going down to a studio at BCV as we will be there during F&W, I won't be cooking.

It just feels good to finally get into a more relaxed state with our points and be able to save some instead of borrowing. In think of 2010 use year we will be able to stay club level at any resort!

I am so happy we own a DVC.

LOL! We seem to be heading the opposite direction with our point usage. We've owned since 2004 and always banked points ... even renting out two week-long reservations last year. This year however, we are looking at using all our points (banked and current) ... and borrowing from 2010 if my (inbound) RCI exchange request doesn't come through!

All because of the Treehouses. We had to plan an extra trip to stay in a treehouse and we're bringing family and friends along.

Not sure what you mean by the part of your quote I have bolded. The only DVC resort that offers Club level is AKV, and those are only 5 two bedroom lock offs.

I think MVM implied they'll have so many points they could splurge on fancy upgrades not previously even considered. (Subject to availability, of course.)
