I'm just wondering here. We love traveling during March, the weather is just awesome. Its actually cool in the evenings and not sauna steamy. But During the off-season, we use significantly less points a night. HOWEVER, even though we save points per year, its not really a true savings since we just book the remaining points toward the next year, and even then, there is a good chance we wont be needing those banked points. Also, you really notice a real savings off DVC compared to CRO cash reservation in peak season.
I guess at the end though it comes down to enjoying your vacation at the time you want it. On the plus side, the points reallocation for 2010 will actually save us 1 point on a week stay during March at AKV.
