We are booked Boston to MCO in May and I just noticed our direct flights are gone and they had moved us to connecting flights. Our departure time wont even work as we are getting off the ship that day and wouldn't make it.

At any rate, I am on the phone with them now trying to change these and when I asked why we werent notified about this they advised me that they did a large overhaul of the schedule on 2/20 and they likely would be contacting passengers this week. So, if you are booked for any upcoming Jet Blue flights, you may want to check them out.

Good luck!

Airlines notify in ORDER of flight... May is a LONG way away to them. Folks flying NEXT week get notified first LOL!

Yes, I checked our April 4:10 direct flight and it wasn't even there anymore. I called right away, and it changed to 10 minutes earlier and is still direct, thank goodness. But, checking online, it's not listed as an option and the rep. Said there were plenty of seats available? Anyone know why that would be?

Oh thats interesting. :confused3 Now that I've changed and lost over 2 hours of my 1 day in Disney, I wonder if there are any other flights that aren't showing that are closer to my original time.

I strongly suggest you give Jetblue a quick call, instead of relying on what you see online, trust me it's not all there!

I've been keeping an eye on Continental flights for AUGUST and they've been disappearing and reappearing at new times for days now. Can't imagine why the airlines are bothering with August flights when it's still six months away.

they changed ours too but it's still a non-stop and it's departing just 1/2 hour earlier now, more time at disney for us. I hope they don't change it again though. Oh and no e-mail but I'm assuming they would email us when it's closer to our departure date.

This hit us, too. I'm not happy. Our direct flight home from Orlando to Washington Dulles in early May was canceled, and we were rebooked (without our knowledge) on a second direct flight, but this one leaves almost 6 hours later than our original flight. We won't arrive at our home airport now until 9 PM or a little later, and of course by the time we get our checked bags, well, add another 30-45 minutes if we're lucky. I probably won't walk in my door now until 10:30-11:00 PM.

I called JetBlue and all the customer service rep could tell me is JetBlue is consolidating some flights, and our orginal flight was indeed canceled. And, of course, we were not notified.

They changed ours too. We were originally scheduled to fly from MCO to Boston at 9am on May 3, they changed the time to 7:30am, and the 9am flight is no longer listed. Our flight down on April 24 didn't change.

We were going to choose the 1PM flight home for our early May trip, but the 6:45PM was cheaper, so the money won. I guess we would've been cancelled too. I wished it was the other way around. On a positive note, keep in mind Jetblue is the LAST direct flight airline into Dulles that does not charge for luggage (1 bag each) and participates in RAC (luggage checkin at the resort). I'm just glad we still have a flight. As for getting home late, we live in WV, so we have an hour drive after we get out of the airport! We did make an ADR for a nice lunch on our last day (at LeCellier). You might want to revisit your plans now to decide what you're going to do with that extra 1/2 day at WDW.

our may flights are still there..just changed by five minutes so far....and way more then we paid for them. All the earlier flights are gone (bos-mco) and lots of them are showing as sold out:confused3 they must be making major changes to the schedule. here we go again!!!!!!!!

Just a helpful note for those calling airlines.

DIRECT does not equal NON-STOP.

NON-STOP: Plane leaves your home airport and arrives at MCO. One take-off/landing.

DIRECT: Plane leaves your home airport, lands at mid-airport then arrives at MCO. Two take-off/landings. Generally a single flight number and the same airplane all the way through.

CONNECTING: Plane leaves your home airport, lands at mid-airport then arrives at MCO. Two take-off/landings. Generally two flight numbers and you change planes at the mid airport.

Direct and non-stop are often confused as meaning the same thing, but they don't and this may cause confusion when discussing your flight options with the agent.

BTW - if it makes you feel any better (about flight changes), I have an upcoming flight for which my airline was 15 non-stop flights a day. They changed (well canceled) one flight in each direction. Guess who was on both those flight?? What are the odds? It is not a problem - given the huge number of flights, I can either move about 30 minutes earlier or later, but I had to laugh that I was on both canceled flights.

I know this. I shouldn't have tried to post while the Academy Awards were on.

We bought our tickets the first few days after the fares were released for our travel dates and all the fares were the same, so there was no price difference for us to consider.

We know that JB is the last airline with nonstop flights into IAD from MCO that does not either charge for luggage or is not participating in RAC, and this is the main reason we like to fly JB. Well, that and seat back tv's, free snacks, and the extra legroom seats.

I live in VA, but I'm still a good 45-60 minute drive from the airport, depending on traffic, and in the DC area there's a pretty good chance you're going to hit traffic somewhere, even later at night.

We haven't decided how we're going to handle the 6-hour delay from our original flight time yet since we have to check out by 11AM and complete RAC before they close at 1PM. We know we have options, but darn it, we'd like to get to MCO a little earlier so we could still get home at a more reasonable time.

Our flight out of Orlando on 5/9 was dropped. I had a flight out at 4 in the afternoon, I logged on and checked my reservation and we're now on a flight out at 7:40. Not that bad I guess; we'll get more time at the parks. I also noticed that they changed our seats up to the "even more legroom" seats. Not bad at all!

My flight down got changed from an 8:22 to a 9:35, which is now the earliest posted flight for the day I'm flying. I'm surprised to see that the earliest flight between Boston and Orlando for May 4 is now 9:35 a.m..

I have to book my August flights soon, so I'll be watching them. I won't be able to fly out sooner than 6pm on our departure day. Maybe I'll be better off waiting for SW to open that day.

We leave May 5th Boston to Orlando and we are on the 9:35 flight- it doesnt appear to be any different (in fact it is still being offered but at a much higher price than what wee paid!)

I know this might seem like a stupid question, but why do you feel the need to book your August flights soon? Don't mean to be nosy, but I'm flying the end of August and I was going to wait a while. Is this something I should be doing sooner rather than later?
