Not much left on 4/3 for June?

I am trying to book our vacation for June 10-17, but I am a little flexible with that as I am mainly trying to get there for Star Wars weekend.

With the 4/3 plan, there are only 5 places available

Boardwalk
Saratoga
Old Key West
ASMusic
ASSports

Does this sound right? I am almost positive that 2 days ago when I checked that CBR and other moderates were available. The Villas are a little more than we wanted to pay, and we are not crazy about the All Stars. :(

Availability of resorts can be very fluid. I'd keep trying since people switch their resorts and cancel reservations constantly. The Disney website isn't always up to date. Have you called CRO to see if they have anything that you'd like available for your dates?

Have you checked other websites like Expedia, Travelocity, or Southwestvacations? They get discounted rooms in blocks and sometimes have rooms available that Disney doesn't.

It might be worth it to get a TA who specializes in Disney to do the legwork for you. You never know what they might come up with and it will cost you nothing to get their help.

We are going to WDW from June 13th-20th and staying at CBR. We were originally booked at ASMovies, as it was the only value OR moderate available at the time. This Sunday, we looked at the new availability online--now they had CBR and ASSports available, but no ASMovies. So I would just say to keep checking, because you'll never know what will become available! :goodvibes

I would definitely keep checking, especially as you get closer to the 45 day mark. Do keep in mind that this deal has been available since Nov.6th.

Good luck:wizard:

Try and online book for 10 days. There seems to be packages for 10 days available in a wide variety of the resorts. I checked POFQ and CR for June 7 - 17 and they both had rooms available. After securing the 10 day trip, call CRO and reduce the number of days. There have been conflicting reports on getting this done, but hopefully you won't have any problems.

From what I understand, there are a limited number of packages for 7, 8, 9, and 10 days. The 10 day packages seem to be hanging on a lot longer than the 7 day packages.

Hope this helps

I booked CBR yesterday for the 4/3 deal for June18-25.i'd just keep checking, good luck!

Great Tip!!!!! We are booked at YC for 7 nights at end of June w/ the 4/3 deal. I was thinking of changing to BC and nothing was coming up for my dates, but if you change it to a 9 night package there are all kinds of choices!

So, does it work to call back later and have it changed to the 7 night package instead of the the 9 night? Just playing the Disney game :)

Me too, now I was trying for ASMu and its not coming up even at 10 days. Only ASsp. ASmu is only coming up for 6 days. Do I wait? keep checking? Book for ASsp and try to change?

If you really want a value I think I would book what is available now and then if the other comes up you can switch. As it gets closer to summer more people will start to think about vacation when school is out and the values do fill up in the summer.

Has anyone here booked a longer stay on the 4/3 plan, then reduced the length of stay? (with no change fee?)

The previous poster is correct, there are only a limited number of packages, for each resort for each of the packages - 7,8,9 or 10 nights. I was, however, successful in booking a 9 night resort stay (that was not available for the 7 night package) and then calling back and getting a 7 night package. Although, this did take some time and I had a great CM that was willing to take the extra time and talk to guest services for me. He was so terrific that I actually took the time and did the phone survey after my booking. :thumbsup2

Thanks so much for posting. So, it can be done, it may just take some work. ;)

:cool1: I, too, was ttrying for the 7 night package-- no luck. Booked the 8 night and called back 2 days later to drop the 8th night. It took 2 CM's, and as the PP said, one willing to speak to guest services-- But It Worked!!:cool1: So keep trying and good luck
