Hi, I am sure this has been asked a million times but were looking to do a 4 day cruise as part of our honeymoon in December 2010.

Any tips? I would be looking to book via the disney cruise website or Dreams Unlimited.

I have been on a med cruise about 10 years ago with my parents but this will be our first cruise together :goodvibes

Can I book Palo before I get on the ship?

Can I upgrade my stateroom at a later date? I will have to pay the cruise in dollars and trying to be conservative given the exchange rate with the U.K at the moment and the economy problems.

Many thanks for any advice - I am a complete newbie!

Awsome! Congrats on the wedding!! I am sure you would both LOVE the cruise. I booked through the Disney site but have heard that Dreams Unlimited is good to, or you could book Disney and then switch over to Dreams to get both of their incentives! You can book Palo before you get on the ship and there are also some "packages" available on the ship for honeymooners (I think). You can upgrade but that could be at a higher price than now since as the cruises become more full they are more expensive!

Hope this answered some of your questions...ask away!!!

Great thanks for that - how do you book Palo before you get on the ship?

Congrats!

After you make your reservation and pay in full, 75 days before your cruise you can go online and make reservations for Palo, Spa Treatments and port excursions.

Since this is your honeymoon, you might want to look into booking the Romantic Escape package, among other romantic things you get a dinner at Palos and you can make your reservations online at 105 days before your cruise.

Hi there! We are going on our honeymoon cruise this Saturday (2/14/09) We booked the REAS package and I have a surprise basket being delivered for my hubby by Shierly at The Perfect Gift. We also booked the Exotic Rasul and Couples Cabana massage at Castaway Cay! If you'd like, I can give you details on how everything went and if there is anything special that Disney does for us. Just let me know! Hope this helps a bit :)
