Guests sharing their Wedding Pictures...?

What are your thoughts on asking your guests to share their wedding pictures. I love this idea but I am not familiar enough with all the picture websites to know which works best.

Can anyone tell me their experiences and thoughts on doing this with these sites? Can anyone order prints on any of these?

I like! Can your guests order photos from there? And can you save others images on your computer??

I'm not sure if they can order from there or not, I don't see why not. For whatever reason they can't, they can always save the picture to their computer and print it out or upload it to a different site to print. And you can save the pics they upload to your computer.

P.S. Are you getting married April 25th?

You could do this through Shutterfly. You can even create a webpage for your guests to discuss your wedding (a forum section), an image gallery, etc. Plus they can order their images through the site.

I don't think you need a coupon code? I just get emails all the time with free promotions. If you want to PM me your email address, I can forward the next one I get to you. I think as long as you access the site through the link in the website, you'll get the promotional price.

Yep! We're getting married at our home church in Pittsburgh. Then we'll be at Disney the 27th!

Yeah for the 25th! we are 74 days away. I hope everything goes wonderful & have a great time @ Disney. We will be gone, as we are leaving the 26th for Jamacia!

You can, however the image may be smaller and not what you expect. Their prices for 4X6 inch prints are very reasonable and they are always offering discount codes.

Ladies...I found this wonderful website for online coupon codes!! I check it out before I guy anything online. www.retailmenot.com it is so cool! Sometimes they give you codes and sometimes it is direct links to sites that take you to the webpage that you are looking for with their codes already added to your order. It takes 2 seconds and you save money it is my favorite little trick!

Just a word of caution. I had my guests do something similar using photobucket, but for various reasons the pics they uploaded were not printable in all cases and there was no way for me to save them to my computer. I ended up asking them to send me copies on CD (only because none of them are local to me). That was the best way for me to be able to print all the pictures.

I am a Mobile Me subscriber (since I own a Mac) and in iPhoto, you can set up a online gallery that people can view and download. The coolest thing is, it assigns an email address to your gallery, and you can email pictures to the site and they post directly.

I will say that even though I put out the info, I've had to prod people to send in their photos.

We used Flickr and got a great response. We put the cards in the Gift boxes for our guests and had over 300 photos uploaded to our site! I did send an email to our guests with instructions of how they can download and print the pictures if they didn't already know how.
