Hi ladies. I'm stressing out big time over my PS. I just want to be as prepared as possible. What did you go with? What kinds of questions did you have? I hate making decisions on the spot so I have to be as prepared as possible. TIA! :upsidedow

we just went two weeks ago and meet w/ the disney planner for the first time. and we didnt write down many questions we went there thinking of a lot of what kinds of places we wanted to look at and how much things where and if the hotels were inculded w/ the cost but other wise she did a really nice job going over things! they give you a huge packet of things to think about and she sent us a quote after we got home and it have even more info on it. But i think the most important thing to ask is to see where you are thinking about having your wedding and reception.

I think the OP is talking about a Planning Session, after you have already booked your wedding or VR. What you are describing is a site visit.

We have already booked our VR and went on our site visit a few weeks ago.(after already dealing with a sales person and had our contract signed and deposit made) We saw the sites we wanted to see had all our questions answered, etc.

We will be doing our planning session in July. I plan on bringing my binder which is filled with floral ideas, centerpiece ideas, color swatches, menu ideas, etc. I will also have ideas and questions about how the tables will be set up for the reception. Really I have had most of my questions answered here and by my sales manager so I don't have too many for the PS.

Good luck, oh and take lots of pictures of the food! I would love to see them!LOL

I'm not sure when yours is but I was given a questionaire from the coordinator and the florist. If you have that and have most of those questions answered the rest is EZ! If you aren't sure about any of the questions they give you, leave it blank and they will go over all of your options. I can say the biggest prep. you can do is bring pictures for the florist, cake baker, and a menu outline for the coordinator.

Hope this helps! And if you haven't received the questionaires yet I would ask for them or I can send you the one that they gave me.

I brought a binder that I had kept things together like pictures of bouquets, centerpieces, and other ideas that we wanted to have throughout the wedding/reception! I also brought color swatches that we are using for the wedding as well as a pic of my dress with the description and just basically anything I have been keeping pics of and such for the wedding!! HTH!

What questionaire did you recieve from the Florist? I don't believe I recieved one from the florist and my PS is 3/6/09

It has questions like
-what are you wedding colors,
-who will need bouquets,
-# bout. for groomsmen,
- # parents,
-types of floral you might be interested in (pedals on the aisle, ceremony floral, staged exit. etc., centerpeices
- items you would be interested in purchasing through Disney like welcome bags, cake kife, etc.

I had/have Laura Kidd, maybe they all have there own way of doing things but I thought it helped to fill it out and give her ahead of time. She has been wonderful so far incase any of you get her!

I have my list of questions, If you want I can send them to you so you have an idea. I took my binder along with 2 copies of everything on for Ken and one for Laura.

Camara, can you send them to me too? My ps is on March 6 and I'm trying to gather everything-so much stuff!

Thank you:hug:

I also took a binder, and gave my wedding planner a folder containing copies of everything from pictures of dress to flowers, and color swatches.
