iPhone Applications

Last night I found a killer application for the iPhone. It's caller App Sniper. It basically lets you know whenever applications go on sale in the App Store and it also lists all new applications that are availiable.

* I'm sorry if this sounds like an advert but it really isn't. I have no affiliation with the application or the developer.

Thanks this might be worth a look since I've only bought one app, since most of the games I take off after a day :)

My current fav's are Flixster, which gives Film trailers, but also from your location gives the nearest cinema with film times etc.

And POI Lite, which as you drive alerts you to fixed camera sites, tells you, your speed and the speed limit on that stretch of road.

I bought Packing which an utility for let me see packing lists.:thumbsup2 but it is really handy as you can tick off things you have packed and add to the database with your own items, plus make lists for different people.

Stanza is okay too for downloading books, not that I have done that yet but came with a free book.

Backgrounds is good for getting good wallpapers.

ShoppingList my fav one, use this all the time and walk round the supermarket using it and ticking off items as and when I find them. You can add to the database with your own items too.

BBC iPlayer is canny too but I just got that off the BBCs site.

Excellent thread:thumbsup2

I'm just off to check out these apps:cool1:

Someone on the US board was saying you could download the WDW park maps as apps. Can we do that (by we I mean DH as I don't have an iphone yet!! But I will have as soon as my contract is up on my Nokia!!)

Originally the MK park was only available. The other three parks have now been added including DTD. I've got all of the apps, they are not bad.

Guess what I got for my birthday :cool1: :cool1:

What are everones favourite apps then?

Lucky you, I have the ipod touch and love that. The eldest son has just bought the iphone and says it is the best gadget he has ever bought which says a lot because we are all gadget freaks in our house.
