My baby has grown up

DS is 18 today. Where has all that time gone?

DH and DD are out today so it's just me and him - I'm going to take him to Tony Romas for lunch and he's off celebrating with his friends tomorrow.

When I was worrying about potty training and baby sitters I don't think I realised what a short time our kids are children. (He'll always be my little boy - even if he is a lot taller than I am!)

My DD was 18 last Saturday, and it was a time to reflect on all her milestones and wonder where time has gone ~ it really does fly by, doesn't it ?

Both my sons are adults now, one 18 last year, the other 20 and I am really pleased with how they turned out because no one gives you an instruction manual on how to bring them up.

The time does go so fast but I can't complain as I keep waiting for the time I can go back to WDW not during the school holidays at any time I like as its a nightmare getting the leave off at work as everyone has children in my team. and we have to fight to get the school holidays off.

I work in a school so it will be a while before I can choose my time to go to WDW.

DS and I had a lovely lunch. We were the first people at Tony Romas - DS had ribs and I had salmon. No desserts as we were too full but DD(15) made him a lovely chocolate birthday cake yesterday so we can eat that later. (I'm still finding my elbow a bit sore so I gave her instructions and she ended up making a better looking cake than I ever do.)
