Sci Fi Seating

We are a family of 5 and some times at Disney we don't always get the best seats in the house. Are 5 people "allowed" to sit in car or will we have to sit at a picnic table? The main reason this was my DD11's pick was to sit in a car.

We were in a car that had 3 rows of seat, so a family of 5 could fit in a single car.

I believe that we had 6 in one car (4 adults and 2 children). This was over 10 years ago and all I remember is the food was TERRIBLE - I mean, I couldn't even eat mine. My daughter, now 17, remembers sitting in the cars and thinking this was the coolest thing ever. She doesn't remember the food at all. So for her it was worth it!
BTW- I think this place is getting better reviews now than 10 years ago, so have a great time.

A lot of the cars will seat six, three rows for two people. There are car tables (tables with removable chairs but car ends) and picnic tables. When you check in you might want to let them know that you want to sit in a car.

We love Sci-Fi and make a point of having at least one meal there each trip, usually a lunch. We find the food consistently good and our service has always been really good. Enjoy!

Actually, it's better that you have 5. That way, you won't have a 3rd party seated in the same car.

you can seat five in a car, one may have to sit alone, I love it when I get to sit alone there, just don't tell my wife I said that.

It is always our first meal at WDW.
