MK Photo Shoot Questions

I apologize in advance for the loads of questions I'll be asking you guys the next few days. There's so much I want to know!!!! So my question now is how does the MK photo session work?? How many pictures do you actually get for $1300?? I remember reading a long time ago someone had posted that you could by a CD, but you had to wait so long before you get it. Is there an extra fee involved with the CD?? Sorry I have so many questions!!!

$1300 is the price for doing two consecutive photo shoots, one in the MK and one in another park. Just the MK costs $1,000.

You get a folio of 12 4x6-inch prints, or you can spend $1,250 on the shoot and get a folio of 12 8x10-inch prints. (Dunno how much more it is to get 8x10s with a two-park shoot.) Both packages also include loose 4x6-inch prints of every image from the photo shoot.

Disney offers Wishes event couples a disc of high-resolution images from all events photographed by Disney for $1,000 ($750 if Disney didn't shoot your wedding). The price drops to $500 three years from the date of the wedding.

On the folio, do you get to pick? ANd if not, can you swap out the pics yourself?

Yes, you can pick them, but they don't really advertise that. Just make sure they know you want to so they don't automatically select for you before you have a chance to decide.

we asked to pick our photos for our album but then the photos just turned up at the door as they had sent them already. you could easily take them out and replace them with one of the others though.

I have looked at my album from Disney and the pages that hold the photos seem to be glued together. It looks like the only way I could change the photos would be to rip the album. Luckily most of the photos they picked for my album are my favourites, however I do have a couple I would love to dispose of

Oh no - you definitely can buy the CD if you're having an Escape event, and it's a bit cheaper: $750 right away or $350 after 3 years. OR you can give up the prints and the online proofing and cheapie proof book that come with the Escape package and buy the disc right away for $395 - definitely the best deal, IMHO.

Yes. If you have an outside photographer for your wedding but you do an MK Shoot with Disney, you can buy the MK pix on disc from Disney for $750. If Disney shoots your wedding, the disc with pix from all events they shot (including the MK shoot) costs $1,000.

Sorry, but I'm confused. If you have a escape wedding, use wdw photographer how much extra is the mk shoot?

The MK Shoot costs $1,000 regardless of what kind of wedding you have or whether you have a Disney photographer at the wedding.

Where it gets complicated is when you want to buy a CD with digital copies of all your pictures. That's when you get into Escape vs. Wishes, Disney wedding photography vs. outside vendors, etc.
