We were on the Western (Jan 10 - 17), DD5 had a great time! She kept telling me that she liked the computer games in Oceaneer Club and Oceanneer Lab, but she couldnt tell me the name of the games (ONLY mentioned one of the games has Wall-E)

does anyone has idea that where I can buy those computer games? thanks

Sorry! The only game that DS talked about nonstop after 15 days on the ship this summer was Roller Coaster Tycoon. He and a couple of his friends played this alot. He bought it after we got home. I will ask him if he even looked at the other games when they were there.

My kids played the game Peggle on the ship, when I got home, they talked me into getting it. You can do a free trial of some of the games online. I just did a search for Peggle and several sites came up. I was able to order the game for 9.99. I had kids in 2 of the clubs 5-7 and 8-10 and they both knew about and played that game. I know there were many other options, so that may not be the one your daughter played, but thought I'd mention it.

Thank you!

I believe one of the games is Peggle - I saw her playing it when I picked her up from Oceaneer Club one day. I will ask her today when she return from school :)

Talked to DD5 ... she kept telling me that the two games she liked most are: Wall-E and another game (she named it) "Chit Wiz" .... that's her spelling only (should be wrong) :faint:

I asked her what was in the game, she said there were some balls, and she has to match the color, bla bla bla

Sorry can't help - but was on the same sailing as you!

But am I the ONLY person who thinks it is crazy that we spend $$$$$$ on a cruise and the kids play video games like they could at home?? My daughter lost interest in her club (11-13 yrs) because it was 95% video games!

I can't agree with you more on that :rotfl:

That's why I tried to figure out which game(s) she was addicted to - she even missed the Ratatouille cooking school in Oceaneer Lab, EVERYBODY was making cookies while she and another girl were the only two playing computer games.

I'd rather buy her the game (if available) to play at home, and have her do more fun activities only available on the ship

My guys were in Ocean Quest - and one of the games they had for the Wii was Disney's Think Fast. I had thought about getting it for them for Christmas, but hadn't - so when we saw how fun it was and that they enjoyed playing it, we got it when we got home.

They also had Wii Fit, Dance-Dance-Revolution, and some other active games. While *I* wouldn't use my cruise-time to play video games, I do try to remember that it is my child's vacation, too, and if they want to use their time doing that, how can I say that is any different than DH who spends his time on the verandah reading books all week (which is what he would do at home, too) rather than participating in other "only on a cruise ship" activities?

My dd loved the game chuzzle ...

bingo! A million thanks to ajb1969 :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I google for chuzzle and show DD5 their web site - that's exactly the game she wanted from the kids club! Now I downloaded the free trial and will buy it tomorrow!

Thanks!
