I can't seem to find the answer. What resorts would allow this many kids (please look at ages). Mainly I want to know if the cabins and family suites are the only option or are any of the deluxes an option as well (due to ages)

2 adults
Kids: 9 yr old ,7 yr old , 2.5 yr old, and 17 months

I guess the whole 2 kids under 3 things is making me confused....

This answer is not the end all, but... since the Deluxes allow 5 in a room PLUS one child under 3, you should be all set using a Deluxe-- if you feel you can fit. The Poly has some rooms of 476 sq. feet. Even the regular rooms are spacious though. And if you are used to the 6 of you at home, I don't think the room will be uncomfortable in a Deluxe. Have fun! Hope you get a better, more complete answer ASAP!

I agree -- under the 5 plus one under 3 years old, you could stay at any deluxe resort (for now). Good luck!:)

Essentially, you have 2 adults, 3 kids and an infant. So you COULD also do the Poly or another resort that will allow 5 guests with a daybed, and request a crib or pack & Play for your youngest.
BUT I think that would be very tight. I would look at either the cabin or just do 2 rooms at a value. HTH.

Be careful since both the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge are both Deluxe resorts, but DO NOT have daybeds. These are "4 plus 1 child under 3 years old" resorts. You could not fit your whole family into these resorts. The others (Grand Floridian, Poly, Contemporary, Yacht and Beach Clubs) should work, though it might get cramped.

In addition to the cabins, other options include the All Star Music Family Suites, which I believe sleep six (but could get cramped), you book a 2 bedroom villa (some 1 bedroom villas will sleep 5 plus 1 child), or you could book 2 connecting rooms at any resort. I have 5 children and this is the option we take. Let me tell you, the extra bathroom comes in real handy! :lmao:

Good luck!

POR has rooms that hold 5. Do they allow 5 + infant?

Maybe you would rather stay at a deluxe, but this would be the cheapest option.

We stayed at POR with our 4 kids who were 7, 5, 3 and 22 months this past November. It worked out fine. There was a trundle bed for 1 kid, 2 of us each in the double beds and a packnplay for the baby. It was tight, but we didn't spend any time but sleeping time in the room anyway.

We're actually hoping to get a deal for this year for POR too! Our "baby" won't be 3 until next January!

Hey, we're in the same big family boat :thumbsup2 Our kids are now 10, almost 8, 3 and almost 2. We stayed at POR (when we had 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 under 2) in 2007 and in 2 rooms at POP in 2008. This year we're staying at the Poly since it's our very last chance to try it before having to get 2 rooms (which we would never do at a deluxe :scared1: ) We were comfortable at POR, but it was tight and we just didn't enjoy that resort (personal preference - lots of folks love it). We like having 2 rooms at POP and it was only about $200 more than getting one room at POR.

I know we'll be tight at Poly, but if you have a big family, you're probably used to being in close quarters at least some of the time and I figure the rooms are quite a bit bigger than POR and if we survived that vacation .....:dance3:

I figure after this year, we'll probably try out the Wilderness Cabins.

Good luck in your choice - you'll have a great time whatever you choose :goodvibes

We had a nice fit when we stayed at the POLY and there is 6 of us with our 2 yr old... whom didn't like the crib they wanted him to sleep in.
Have a good time at the Poly...
