2BR at AKV or BWV at 7 Months for Late Nov?

Hello, I am planning the second part of a late November 2009 trip and I am wondering how likely it is that I can book a 2BR at either AKV or BWV at the 7 month window. We currently own at SSR, but everyone going has expressed interest in either BWV or AKV and I wasn't sure if I should just book SSR now or hold out for the 7 month window at either resort and hope I can get a 2BR. I would also consider OKW. We all stayed at SSR in 2007, and while everyone loved it we are trying to both save points and also try somewhere different. Thanks!

AKV you might be able to get - since they opening part in May and Sept of this year.

so would go for it.

BWV points are more expensive than SSR - so you must be asking about standard view. those generally go fast.

but hey ask anyway - who knows you might get it!

Based on my experience in '07, I'd say the week before Thanksgiving week should be as good as you will find for a 7mo window (after F&W but before Thanksgiving). After Christmas is the very busy Christmas season and earlier is the very busy Food and Wine festival (near impossible BWV early Nov.)

For any other week in Nov, I'd certainly book your home resort so your are guaranteed a place, and switch at 7 months if you can.

Thanksgiving week is usually exceptionally busy with DVC, but I still think you'd have a good AKV chance because AKV is so large and possibly more units going online in November..

Another option, there should be Treehouses available by then, but you cannot book now. Which brings up an interenting thought, with Kidani, BLT and THV all "online" and a "down" economy, this may be THE year to snag something that is usually difficult in the fall...

in '07 I got a BWV standard 1BR (at 7 months day by day) for the week before Thanksgiving week  . That's why I think the "impossible" is more possible that week

And it looks like there are lots of DP's out there with expiration dates of 10/3/09 that have to be used at SSR. I think SSR might be the toughest resort to book 7mo for Aug/Sept! ;)

Great points! I think we'll just wait for our 7 mos window then, I didn't realize all of those other units were going to be live this year. We were able to rent points at BWV for a 2BR the first 4 days of our trip so we are pretty flexible for the second 4, if it comes down to it everyone might be fine with two studios if need be. Thanks for the info.
