You don't get to choose the time you leave, the day before you leave you will get a letter form ME telling you what time the bus will pick you up and that you should be at the bus stop 15 minutes prior to that time in case the bus is a few minutes early. The pick up time is usually 2:45-3:00 hours prior to your flight time.

i'm sorry, i'm still trying to figure out the lingo here...what/who is "ME"?

oh...so it's not like a shuttle that comes every now & then? so i shouldn't plan a trip back to the park that day, huh? wouldn't want to miss our flight! thank you! :flower:

ME = Magical Express.
DME = Disney's Magical Express.

No - going back to the airport, it's not like a shuttle that comes every once in a while. As tozzie says, and your DME packet will explain, your return trip will be scheduled approximately three hours before your flight departure time.

You need to be AT the pickup spot with your entire party and everything you're bringing to the airport with you, fifteen minutes prior to this time. The time you are assigned is the time the bus departs. If you miss your assigned bus, there may not be room for you on the next one, or there may not even BE another bus for several hours if no Guests are scheduled to depart from your resort.

You're flight is at 5p. DME will give you a scheduled pick up time of around 2p. You'll want to be back at your resort by around 1:30 if you have to pick up luggage in storage. You can spend the morning in a park. Spending the morning in the resort also makes sense. Breakfast. Pool. Take pictures.

The pick up time is really the time the bus leaves the hotel, kind of like a plane departure time. You really really do need to be there 15/20 min prior to the time listed on your info to make sure you are boarded and ready to go.

you will be told the departure time. Approx 3 hrs prior for Domestic, international is 4 hrs.

As mentioned be there 15 minutes prior with your vouchers or letter from ME that was on your doorknob the day prior.

The bus is prompt and leaves on time

Like the other posters stated, you do need to be there 15 minutes early. I read my instructions wrong and got to the bus at the depart time. They would not let us on since the bus was getting ready to head out. Luckily another bus was coming soon and we were leaving real early in the morning so it was not crowded.

I'll remember to read it right next time.:thumbsup2

We like to get there about a half an hour ahead of time because once the bus left over 10 minutes early.

ok...will be sure to be there at least 20-30 minutes early. i think going into the park may not be an option for us...that's ok. better not miss the bus! thanx everyone for taking the time to respond! i'm so excited about our trip...even w/all these crazy planning strategies! :flower:
