I am wondering if anyone has done one of the in-room Disney Celebrations, or plans to? I am looking into it, I have my eye on the Mickey's Grand Welcome. Just wondering if anyone has experienced it (or any of the in-room celebrations) and how satisfied they were with it.

I'd like to know also, I'm planning on doing the big birthday one for my DD's b'day in March.

can someone share the number or website where you can order this type of stuff, and also do you know if it is available at the Dolphin hotel?

I ordered the "He be a Pirate" basket of beer for my husband last year for our anniversary. It was expensive but he loved it.:drinking1

I ordered one for my husband. We celebrated our anniversary at WDW last week.

The flowers were stunning and the products were great.

You must call the Disney Florist direct to order an in-room decoration. The number is on the website www.disneyflorist.com. The in-room decoration is not available at the Swan, Dolphin or any other non-Disney resort.

The florist will deliver other products, such as gift baskets and floral arrangements, to the Swan and Dolphin.

Thank you all for the information. It was strange I was looking at the same thing just yesterday I was thinking of getting the princess ones with the crown autograph book and pen for my nieces and then the welcome home one with the coffee mugs and cocoa and stuff.

I noticed on the Disney Florist website, it says to call for the price of the Grand Welcome and other in-room packages. Anyone called and gotten the prices? I'm thinking about doing this also.

The Grand Welcome is $310. Mickey's Welcome is $200.

If you click on the balloons you see floating on the home page, it will bring up a big image of Mickey's face. Just below his nose, you will see "Birthday Wishes", "Magical Welcomes", "Romantic Congratulations". Click on one of those titles and it will bring up a page with all the details, prices and pictures of the offerings.

Mickey's Welcome was like $260 when I ordered it last week! Then I noticed it said call for the price when I checked later in the week.

Are you sure it is $200 now?

When I called I forgot to ask the size of the blanket! Guess I'll be calling back.

I'm just quoating the price from the website. Are you sure your didn't order From Mickey and Minnie with Love? If memory serves, that one is around $260. Did you add anything extra to your order?

So would ya'll say it's worth the price? I'd like to surprise my DD for her 15th birthday but it's sooo expensive.

You're right...it was Mickey and Minnie with Love. Sorry.

And yes, I did add something on which added to the $260 or so.

Thanks, Feralpeg.

I can't find Mickey's welcome. I see Mickey's Grand welcome but not just mickey's welcome and that one is more in my budget then MGW.

Thanks.

Also I saw one that looked cute it was candy bars w/ a mickey on it. I have 2 boys could I just add a stuffed animal? Does anyone know?

TIA

This shows the Mickey's Grand Welcome, and if you scroll down it also gives the price of the Mickey's Welcome, and what's in it.

They told me yesterday on the phone that they have some different plush you can add (but didn't have any Disney cats, darn it!) They also told me that I could order anything "extra" to be added from the disney.go.com/shopping (or something like that) and have it sent straight to them to add. (the disney shopping DOES have a couple of Disney cats, yay, hope they do when I travel.) Also, they told me if I had anything I wanted included I could send it to them.

DUH right in front of me!!! lol Thanks for the info.

I am SOOOOOOO doing that! it is sooo cute!

What are people opinion do I try to get 2 stuffed animals or have them share they will be 3 & 2. OR do I do the Celebrate with mickey x 2 (candy bars and 32" mickey) it would only be $20 more than welcome mickey and they would each have their own!

I am new w/ the whole sharing thing considering DH and I are only children.....it's a learning process! :lmao:

GET TWO!!!! Seriously, get TWO of the plush! Do you really want the possibility of one of them being mad/sad over not holding/sleeping with the Mickey? On vacation? :) You can do the whole sharing thing AFTER vacation. :)

Yeah after I hit post I was like that is dumb just get two. I wonder how much more it would be to do the whole room thing and just get an additional 22" plush.

And I am also wondering with I am trying to figure this out now when our vaca is 8 months away!!!!!!!!!! I need a Disney vacation planning anonymous group asap PLEASE! :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
