DAY 2 TUESDAY 6TH JANUARY 2009
Firstly I must apologize about the lack of photographs I have used some shots taken on Thursday. It was absolutely freezing a lot colder than yesterday.I also suffer from Raynards in my fingers so even taking my gloves off for a few seconds meant my fingers turned to ice. One tip for people heading off soon is to get your hands on some Little Hotties.....these are disposable heat packs you simply open and shake and have heat for 8 hours....these were brilliant.
So we had decided to head to the Studios today. The main aim was for Jacob to meet Stitch whilst dressed in his Stitch suit and hopefully get to talk to Stitch in Stitch live.
We arrived at the studios shortly after 10am and headed straight for Stitch live. What a fantastic show we all really enjoyed it but Stitch didn't pick J to talk too but we thought we would try again later.
We did the Studio Tram Tours but it was freezing there was ice all over the trams and wasn't as spectacular as two years ago....the lorry never really blew up.We did heat our hands when we got to the dragon.
Mac managed RnRC twice ,once with Rod and once with me.This ride really is the business I love the take off 3-2-1 and whizzing round singing at the top of my voice.
Next we queued for Crush already it was about 40mins but once we got to the area inside it was lovely and warm and we really didn't mind, it was nice to thaw out.The boys really enjoyed this ride but neither Rod or me were that keen on it.
The boys jumped on the Flying Carpets
Then it was time for my nightmare TOT
Mac really wanted to go on this and had chimed on all morning.Jacob would have loved to go on but I wanted to try it first as he is quite a softie.Well what can I say I loved the first bit in the lift and looking out over the park but as for the drop ....it terrified me I hated it.My poor son adored it but came off with bruises on his thighs where I had been gripping him.Poor Mac only got to ride it once as Rod was going no where near it.
We decided to try and speak to Stitch again and as we were heading over Stitch was having a meet and greet but what a scrum. My polite Northern Irish temperament left me and I pushed our way in.The CM saw J in his suit and ushered him up to Stitch but it was hard to get a decent piccie amidst the scrum
So happy we headed off for Stitch Live. This time we knew to get close to the door and told J to sit in the middle of the carpet. The Hostess this time called Patricia.Stitch came on the screen and the first words he said was....."Patricia I see an experiment find out the experiment's name" Jacob answered and Stitch called him Alien Jacob.Stitch then asked Alien Jacob what planet was he from and Alien Jacob replied Mars Stitch then asked Alien Jacob from Mars what age he was ...J said 6 and Stitch said "Alien Jacob from Mars is 6 million years old" That made my wee boys day
Next Mcauley and Rod headed back to RnRC .We had already seen the Moteurs show two years ago and decided to give it a miss. The studios including Toon town were pretty empty at this time.A great time for meeting characters.

Jacob and me also did the Cars ride three times whilst waiting for the other 2 to return. The CM let us just stay on as there was no queue.
Next we headed off to Buffalo Bills for the Wild West Show. This was a brilliant show lots and lots of yee ha-ing and whoop whooping. The boys loved banging their cutlery off their metal plates I just hope they don't keep it up at home I wasn't expecting much from the food but it was delicious, the chilli was really tasty.Lots of beer and Coke was drunk and we cheered on the Reds but to be honest the reds rarely won much.Rodney was blown away by the buffalo he couldn't beleive there was real buffalo in the arena.I would certainly recommend this show to anyone but especially boys .......both big ones and little ones
After the show it was back to the hotel for another well deserved sleep
