Has anyone traveled to MCO on Saturday during Thanksgiving?

We are trying to decide whether we want to fly to MCO Thanksgiving weekend. We'll be arriving not departing, so does that matter?

We have arrived that Friday or Saturday several times, and plan to do so again in 2009. Have not encountered anything unusual or any problems. That week is my favorite time to visit.

Well I suppose I'm concerned about delays with planes coming in, and crowds at the airport and at ME counter. We waited for an hour this year when we went, but it was during Pop Warner and I'll never do that again.

We planned to fly in this year on Sat. after T'Day, but when pricing flights found it was considerably cheaper to fly in on Friday (I'm talking at least $100/person cheaper). I assumed it was because more people fly home from T'day visits on Saturday and Sunday rather than the day right after. We arrived in MCO about 10:30 AM and the airport was unusually quiet. There were no lines at security and not as many people in general as usual.
