I've just become the Orlando Getaways Examiner on examiner.com (a fancy title for "writer"), which means I'll be posting short articles and blurbs on all the local attractions. You can bet I'll be doing plenty on USF and IOA...my first piece is all about Express Pass: http://www.examiner.com/x-2200-Orlando-Getaways-Examiner~topic52034-Universal-Studio-Florida

I'm planning to do a blurb about online communities so I can lure some readers over here and we can sprinkle them with Mummy Dust. :thumbsup2

Oops, I don't know if it's live yet. It works for me, but if y'all can't see it I'll post again when it goes live.

Good info about Celebration too. I always wondered about that place.

Great review..:thumbsup2

I'm like damo, thanks for shedding some lite on Celebration!!

I'll probably be doing a lot more on Celebration too since it's my hometown. I'm thinking my next topic will be "Universal for Thrill Seekers." It's fun because I can write about whatever I want.

Thankie you barb!

let us know when another one of your articles are published.

I gave Disney equal time with today's posting, but I'm planning to do the IOA thrill rides next week. I'm trying to figure out some way to make HHN timely even though it's not even 2009 yet. Hmmmm....maybe something for compulsive planners...

Kool job.I'm following every installment.:thumbsup2

HHN19 is awhile away, the next big thing is Mardi-Gras!!

I just posted one about the character breakfast, but I found conflicting information on Universal's website as to the price and times. Hopefully I kept the article generic enough. I've emailed their PR dept. twice to see if they have a media site like WDW, but so far no response.

Where are ya postin'?

I think you will really enjoy it. We've only done the Grinch breakfast at the holidays, but we had a blast. The Grinch was totally in character and was a total riot. We had a lot of fun bantering with the Whos too (we especially liked Winnie the Who). I'm sure the "regular" characters are just as much fun.
