What did you get for your fellow agent? Did you go over $10? :) Did you spend under $10? :sad2:

What did you receive?

Are you going to do it again next year?

I got a $10 gift card (from a rest. she said she liked) that was shipped free along with a free Christmas card. I haven't received my gift yet. I was surprised at how much I had in common with the person I got paired with. Depending on finances, time, etc., I will probably do it again next year if offered.

I used two $10 LLBean certificates I had gotten for some larger orders and applied them towards a $35 personalized fleece throw, with free shipping and no tax, ended up costing me $15, right in my price range for something worth more than $15.

I can't even get my swap's info to find anything out. I've tried to contact her twice already and I don't want to keep emailing her. Time is running out.

I got mine today but to be honest I don't think she spent $10. It's a tiny christmas canvas tote that flashes lights. I mean really small that not even a wallet to fit in. I had to put 3 aaa batteries myself. Not complaining but it's really for a child not an adult. Oh well, it's the thought that counts anyway. I received it in a plain yellow envelope. I sent her a CVS $10 card inside a really nice Hallmark card. I'm not sure I'll do this again next year, budget wise I could of gotten that giftcard for his music teacher.

I mailed mine out on Sunday from the self serve kiosk at the PO. I sent an exactly $10.00 item from Vera Bradley (not the clearance ones) that I picked up at the little shop I went to to return my bag. I chose a dark neutral color that would go with pretty much any neutral bag. Hopefully she likes it, but it is the thought that counts and I did put thought into it! I always use the rule don't gift it if you wouldn't want to receive it so I followed that and hopefully I will not disappoint.

I sent my swap a scentstories player from Yankee Candle and a scentstories disc
The player I got on sale for $10 and the discs were buy 2 get 1 free -
It was something I had bought but couldn't decide who to give it to.

It did cost me $14 to ship though! :scared1:

I sent my match-up a Vera Bradley hipster that I got on sale at our local Hallmark for only $10! What a great find :woohoo: ... I almost kept it for myself, but I got caught up in the spirit of giving.
She is a young mom, so hopefully she will enjoy it!

Yikes, I need to go shopping today. I am armed with my 40% off one item coupon from the Hob Lob. She likes cross stitch...is there a difference between cross stitch and counted cross stitch??

I went a little over $10. I am sending a pack of yankee candle tealight(eggnog) and a small votive holder. I also am sending a burt's bees wristlet with a chapstick, bath salts and hand salve. I hope she likes it. Now I have to see how much it will be to ship...

I am having the same issue. I wrote her and asked her questions and for her address and nothing! :confused3

I got my match a christmas blanket (very soft) with a matching christmas mug and I put 3 different kinds of hot coco in the mug and a 2pack of those REALLY soft cozy slipper socks and a great big candy cane. I hope she likes it! I spent a bit over $10 (probably $15-$20) and shipping was almost $10.. had to use a big box to fit the blanket.

I got my match a Hallmark photo album. $9.00 because I purchased 3 Hallmark cards. It was something I would like to receive, & she didn't send me any ideas so I wasn't really sure what to get. $6 to ship.

I received a $10 gc to chilis which DH and I will put to good use. I sent mine out on Monday and got her the bowls from hallmark, a YC misletoe votive and a votive holder. A little over $10 but not too bad. I hope she likes it when she gets it.

Add another one. I emailed her on Monday and nothing. It is seriously my kind of luck to have this happen. :rotfl2:

The thing that is quite annoying....she had to log into bzzagent in order to accept the campaign. I know she got my contact info. What the heck?? Why bother accepting if you're not going to follow through?

you have to remember that alot of upper new england still doesnt have power or internet because of the ice storm we had this week...

my uncle in New Hampshire didnt get power until yesterday and is still without both phone or internet.

My swapper collects penguins so I got her matching penguin mug, salt and pepper shaker and a hand towel, plus some candy

I'm a budget shopper...................

Today, I ordered my swapper a ceramic Santa Claus figurine that plays music by Elements on Amazon.com - was $24.99, marked down to $4.86, no tax and free shipping, will be delivered tomorrow.

I thought it was a very nice gift and I didn't have to leave the office or pay for shipping and it's worth way over $10.00. :)

That would be helpful, however I looked on myspace and she is in Michigan. Thanks though!
