Change of equipment on reservation

I have a reservation for christmas but I need to change the information on what size RV I have. At the time I made the reservation I had 39' Class A, now I have a 45' Class C.

Is it going to be hard to get this accomodated?

What is the best number to call to talk to someone about it?

I almost cancelled the reservation yesterday morning because we made plans last month to go to Key West instead. When I got home last night my wife was watching a Disney Christmas special on the travel channel and says I really want to go to Disney instead. She didn't think it would feel like Christmas in the Keys. I don't think she will be able to miss that it is Christmas at Disney.

I have had these reservations since before last Christmas but we didn't think we were going again this year (we went over spring break). Now I have the fun of making sure we can fit in the site. And, I didn't make golf cart reservation or any dining reservations. I guess we will be eating in the RV a lot more this trip.

Christmas in the Keys,,been there and done that,,its okay, we enjoyed it,
but trust me when I say, Disneys Christmas is better.(cept for crowds)
You wont regret it.





All tho I will say , the fishing in the Keys was pretty awesome !

As I remember it after 5 or 6 days we left The Keys and checked in at The All Stars, then the vacation began.

The Keys are for fishing and drinking, not much else to do there. JMHO

No, nothing wrong with that, but it was boring for our young DS at the time. 5 days straight of fishing was more then he could handle.

I had a similar situation for our trip over T'giving week. We had a 35' toterhome with 1 slide when I made the reservation, and then we traded for a 45' Class C with 4 slides. I was trying to switch from a Preferred site to a Premium site, but no premiums were available. I called 407-WDISNEY and gave them the new equipment sizes and they assured me that they'd put us on a preferred site where we'd fit. As it turned out, 5 days before we left a premium site opened up (I think they finished the 400 loop and made all of those sites available) and we switched to a premium site. We fit there with no problem, but I saw a lot of preferred sites that would have accommodated us, too. Just call and give them the new rig info. BTW, what class C did you get that's 45' long?

I keep hoping a premium site will become available. During our last trip to Disney in March we actually had our old 39' discovery even though we also had the new 45' Renegade (we were having some mods made to the interior and they weren't done in time) so I had an eye out for sites that would fit it. I am only a little concerned about finding a place to fit. I did talk to someone that had one there and they were in a regular loop (1200 I think but not sure). I don't think I could even get it around the loop we were in (1900, very tight even with the 39' class A). I did talk to someone in reservations and they were very reassuring. I got lucky and spoke with someone that had a big fifth wheel and was looking for a motorhome so they understood my concerns.

Our new Class C is a 45' Renegade w/ 3 Slides (super slide on driver side, regular slide on passenger side, Master bedroom slides out the back. We love it, it has pretty much everything you can imagine. We like the flat floor in the back (no raised area over the engine) and the extra tall ceilings. It is a Columbia chassis but with the Detroit Deisel 515hp, 1650 ft/lb engine. It is great in the mountains even towing the avalanche. I think the best thing about a truck conversion is that you don't really have to worry about weight so much so it has solid wood cabinets, tile floors and very large tanks (200 g water, 120 gray, 60 black, 50 propane and 140 deisel). Even fully loaded I have about 10,000# of extra cargo capacity.

We will be at the Fort from 12/20 (arriving very late probably) until at least 12/27, if you see a rediculously large stark white class C it may be me, say hi if we are there.

We have a Haulmark on the Coronado chassis with the same engine you have. I like the looks of the Columbia better (that's what our toter was), but DH likes the Coronado driving experience better. They are great for towing and no worries in the mountains, but I always say that parking them is like docking the Queen Mary. FWIW, we had absolutely no problem navigating the 400 loop.
