what is due when you book a package?

We have some friends who are wanting to join us in February for the new deal. What is due when you book the vacation? When is the rest due? What is the cancellation policy?

$200 to book package. Balance due 45 days out from arrival. $100 and $200 penalties to cancel after that and then closer to the date- I think within 30 days of arrival.

OK, checked...$100 cancellation fee up until 6 days from arrival. Then it is a $200 charge to cancel. You can rebook another date I believe and not lose the $200. There is a smaller- $50 ?- fee to change a ressie within the 45 day window.

I wanted to add that the $50 change fee only applies of your change in reservation results in a lower price.

Payment Procedures

* A DEPOSIT of $200 per reservation plus the price of any promotional or published airfares must be received at time of booking or the reservation will be automatically canceled. If the booking includes vacation insurance, the cost of vacation insurance is also due at time of booking.
* FINAL PAYMENT is due in our office 45 days prior to guest arrival. Bookings made 45 days or less prior to arrival must be paid in full at time of booking.
* FINAL PAYMENT can be made online with a valid credit card or can be sent to Walt Disney Travel Co., Inc., P.O. Box 409668, Atlanta, GA 30384-9668. For overnight delivery via private courier service only, send to: Walt Disney Travel Co., Inc., Bank of America Lockbox Services, Lockbox 409668, 6000Feldwood Road, College Park, GA 30349. Travel documents are proof of final payment and, therefore, no confirmation/receipt will be sent to confirm final payment on the reservation.

Cancellation and Change fees

* For a cancellation made 44 to 6 days prior to arrival, there is an additional cancellation fee of $100 per package plus any cancellation fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers.
* For a cancellation made 5 days or less prior to arrival, there is an additional cancellation fee of $200 per package plus any cancellation fees by hotels or other suppliers. . In addition, with respect to Grand Gathering experiences, no refund will be given for cancellations made 5 days or less from the experience date. No refunds will be given to no-shows.
* For a change made 44 days or less prior to arrival or that results in a rate change, there is an additional change fee of $50 per package plus any change fees assessed by hotels or other suppliers.
* For changes, the change fees must be paid in addition to any increase in rate resulting from the change.

Ah yes, kind of like my satellite bill. If I upgrade to a higher price, they are more than happy to change it for free... Thanks for fixing that omission
