Need resort suggestion

Here is the deal. My sister and I are tossing around the idea of going to Disney over my birthday next year. It would jsut be a quick trip with me, my sister, her then 9yr old daughter, and our dad. My birthday is in November, so we would be going to see the holdiday decorations and take in a Mvmcp.

Our first thought was to get 2 rooms at a Value resort, but the last 2 times I have been to Disney with my sis and her family we have stayed at the All Star Resorts, and her daughter really missed having a pool slide. I know would fit into 1 room anywhere, but we are not sure how the bedding would work. My dad would need a bed, my sis could sleep with her daughter, but we still need a bed for me. All I can come up with is the Contemporary or Poly, but we really don't want to spend that much on a room. Can you guys think of some other options that would sleep all of us for a reasonable (by Disney standards) price, but would still have a more themed pool? TIA!

One option if you don't mind sharing a bed with your sister is to get a room at the Port Orleans Riverside with the pull out trundle bed for her 9 year old.

I believe you can rent cots for the moderates also, not sure about the values.

I don't think sis would want to share a bed with me! I tend to not be a restful sleeper, and I don't think she would want me smacking into her all night long.

If you want to stick to a moderate to keep the costs down, a roll away would be your next option. Last I checked they were $15 extra plus tax and in limited numbers.

CBR's rooms are larger than the other moderates. You could take an airbed and have plenty of room. They also have a brand new huge very elaborately themed zero entry pool with 2 slides and a new children's pirate pool with a tipping bucket and several slides.

CSR now has queen beds in all the rooms and will be offering club level rooms as of 1/2009. All the rooms are being completely rehabbed as we speak too.

As far as I know yes it would be on top of the other $15 fee. Not sure if all the resorts have them, I'm sure someone knows here though.

What about the cabins at Fort Wilderness? I don't think they're very well known but they could sleep all of you in 'real' beds, and they also have a bit more wiggle room. I am not sure what the rest is but my cousins were looking into it, and I really don't think the cost was too bad.

Also, had to say hello to a fellow Michigander! I too am from the 'west side of the mitten'! I live in NC now, and I am greatly miss the snow you all have right now!!!
