Sorry if this has been asked. Are you able to see the MK fireworks from WL? We are going to be staying there 12/27-1/3 with 2 little ones. We were told we can see the electric parade from the beach at WL but can we also see the fireworks? Thank you!

Kate

No, not from the beach. The lodge itself blocks the fireworks. You can see the fireworks from SOME standard rooms of the North Wing at the lodge. In addition, if you go up to the 6th floor, and walk down the hallway, there are some windows that you can see the fireworks out of (at the corners of the hallways).

If you are booked in the standard room category (my favorite, simply because of this ability to see the fireworks), just request a 5th or 6th floor room in the North Wing, facing the Magic Kingdom. You will have a PERFECT fireworks view from your beds every night. I've been lucky enough to have it on all three of my stays at WL.

Thank you. I wasn't sure how the resort was situated in reference to MK. We are actually staying in a 1 bedroom room in the Villas.

If you stand at the front entrance of the hotel, you can also see some of the fireworks

I see you have stayed at the WL Villas. This is our first time staying there. We are so excited! Our children will be 4 and almost 2 when we go in December. It is their first Disney trip! Any advice?

I fell in love with this resort when I stayed there after it first opened. It is now our home resort. You are going at a very busy time but remember to bring the kids back for a rest and a swim in the afternoon. You will be more excited staying at the Lodge than your kids. Some things to do:

1)Watch the geyser that goes off every hour.

2) Take the boat to the Contemporary, hop on the monorail and visit the resorts and see the Christmas decorations

3) Curl up on a couch by one of the fireplaces on the 4'th or 5'th floor that are located in the lobby above the front entrance, relax and watch
everything that is going on in the lobby.
4) Before the kids bedtime, take them to the main fireplace, sit in a huge rocking chair and rock them before tucking them in for the night.

5) As mentioned, go to one of the huge balconies that are at the rear of the hotel on the upper floors and watch the Electrical Parade

You can see them from some of the woods view rooms on the north side also. We could see them from our 4th floor woods view room balcony!

We also caught some of the high shells from the boat dock. Wasn't the greatest but kind of romantic for us. Have fun trying to find the unique spot.

What time is the Electrical Water Parade? Does it vary by season or is it the same every night? I'll be there the last week of January if it makes a difference.

Can you hear the fireworks? Is it noisy to be in these rooms? I requested 5th floor North Wing so I thought I would ask.
Thanks!
