Best DISign Program for an Acer Lap Top

Hey all, I've been asking everyone to do DISigns for me, and I want to try some on my own!
I was the lucky "winner" of taekwondo moms free Paint Shop Pro-8 program, and I really appreciated it, but it doesn't seem to be compatiable with my computer . I'm able to do all the DISign changes (which was so much fun!), but when I go to print, it only has one option for a printer, and its not mine! I sat up all night with DH trying to figure out how to change it, but we are at a stand still - there is no drop down or anything.
So I'm looking for advice for another program that will help me take some of Pats wonderful DISigns and make them my own (or if someone can help me fix the one I have) - this is my last try before I beg on of you wonderful people to do it for me!!!
I don't want to spend to much on it, DH won't be to happy with that, but I really want these designs for my girls trip.

What operating system does your computer use? Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac OS, Lynnux? (Reason I'm asking is that I've read in other posts that the older programs are not working correctly with Windows Vista.)

If she can do all the design changes and such with it its not the paintshop pro thats the problem.

From what i get everything works good except you can't print them out cause your printer isn't on the list?

First, can't you just save the design to a folder, and then close paintshop and go there and print the pic?

Second, uninstall and reinstall your printer if the first doesn't work.

If you can open up paintshop pro and use it, its not the problem.. just a problem between it not seeing your printer.

But, if you can print out any other picture from here.. you will be able to print out any you do with it in the same way.

Just save it as .gif or .jpg somewhere on your computer and then print it like you would any of the pictures you save from this site.

OMG - I'm so excited!!! I saved it to the JPEG thing and then put it to my photobucket - I'm so excited!! My only problem is the fact that its really small - do you know how to make it bigger??

Well, I emailed it to myself through the computer, and in the email it seems pretty large, so yeah, I would have to say that it gets smaller in photobucket.

When you open up your photobucket, you see the "upload images and video" at the top? right below that is a drop down menu on what size it will reduce the pic too.. make sure this is on save as 1 megabyte size or 17" screen.

Then reupload the pic and see what sze it is..

Wow, I never noticed the size thing on photobucket - thanks so much!!!! I reloaded the 3 that I have finished so far larger - now when I copy them to my Microsoft word they take up a whole page each!!! Thanks so much for all your help!!!!
