We had a BLAST last night. My kids thought it was the greatest thing ever.
Since we have APs, we did not go on any rides.
The candy lines moved super quick. The character lines not so much. My kids begged me not to have to stand in those lines.
After 3 hours we hit all the candy stations and danced with the pirates and stood in 3 different character meet and greets. The longest line was for Minnie and Mickey....looked like 45 min....seriously.
We got great seats for the parade and DH took the kids to more candy stops while I waited. Saw the cutest pumpkin girl dancing while waiting, just adorable.
Overall, this will be a MUST DO for us in the future. It was very crowded and we got way too much candy. Between the 4 of us, we got 1 pack of carrots and 9 packs of apples, plus the 4 packs of dried/crisp fruit.
I was surprised at how many people were NOT dressed....even kids. There was one VERY good MadHatter....my DD was Alice (along with many other kids and adults) and everyone was asking for their picture with him. DH didn't believe me at first that he was a GUEST...not a character...until he saw him trick or treating with the rest of his party.
