Is this something worth spending the extra money for???? Where is the sitting located for this??

Which parade is this for?

This may be used for any parade going on at the time of your visit at either park

I dont know anything about it but i think the pp asked which parade cause both dca and DL do this and there would be diffrent places.... i think thats why she they asked :)

Are you meaning the Premium Viewing for the DEP - like the Premium Viewing for Fantasmic????

I asked because I am not clear on the question.

If it's the premium parade seating for the DEP, well, I don't think that is available right now because it's not running.

If it's the VIP seating for either the Pixar Play Parade or the Parade of Dreams--for Pixar it is right next to where the floats come out--there are some benches which are covered (next to Playhouse Disney) But my understanding was that you only get that seating if you are part of a VIP tour or a "true" VIP!

For Parade of Dreams I think the seating is at the Main St. train station. Again--only if you are on a tour or a VIP.

Finally--last year for the Holiday Time Tour you got special seating on the parade route for the Holiday Parade--chairs set up by IASW. That was in my mind the only real perk of taking the tour. ( can go on Haunted Mansion and IASW (when it opens again) on my own)

I am not sure... I find them on ebay and was wondering about them is all...

I also recall hearing that there are some "premium" viewing areas--but essentially you sit on the ground--they just reserve an area.

I got my "Premuim Preferred Parade Viewing Tickets" (*They need more adjectives in their description). You get them when you order a Disney Visa Package. It is not an additional cost item like the Fantasmic package or the VIP tour viewing seats!

Yeah--but I don't think you get a bench or chair--all they are is an area set aside where you can sit on the ground. I think--Sy do you know for sure?

Not sure... I was told the seating area is to the right of hollywood backlot entrance. Near where the floats emerge for the pixar parade. For the parade of dreams it is supposed to be near the Main St station. Thats just what the reservation lady told me.

Well, in that case maybe it IS the areas I described above--in which event these are pretty good areas.

Sy - you're right and so is Cheryl. (Hi Cheryl!)

The VIP is actually in the Queue of Playhouse Disney. They move benches into that area under the shade on the side of the building. We found out about it when we saw Play Parade for the first time. We usually stake out seats either next to that area or across, where the park strollers for Playhouse. Depends on the time of year and position of the sun. In Spring/early summer, you want to sit on the stroller parking side or you have the sun in your eyes constantly. That made us think it was a kind of sucky place to put the VIPs.
