A belated WL report.

We did a 2nt./3day stay mid-Sept. at WL and had one of the best trips ever, okay I guess they're all pretty much the best ever.

We always stay offsite on our travel day then get up early to check in at our resort on our package, while it's usually in Orlando, we decided to try a Hampton Inn located just of the highway in Lake Mary at Colonial Townpark, we had a simple 30-40 min. drive the next day. This was a very nice hotel and I would highly recommend it if any of you do the same thing.

The weather for the entire trip was spectacular as we passed right by Hannah as it was heading north and we were heading south. We checked in at WL at 8am with absolutely no one in line at all, we were greeted by a very nice CM who proceeded to upgrade us to courtyard view:yay:. However, we declined and accepted an upgrade to woods view as this room was ready for us immediately, we figured it would be better to have access to our room right away since it was a short stay. Our room had a wonderful view overlooking the villas and quiet pool, we were very happy with our decision.

The crowds were unbelievably light, I mean the likes of which I've never experienced before. I know you run the risk of a hurricane during Sept. but I have to tell you that between the weather, the low season rates and the low crowd levels, this is a great time to go.

WL has become one of our 3 favorite resorts and in our opinion the best deal for a deluxe at Disney and it hasn't let us down yet. Next we're trying a trip this Feb., this will complete our "seasons" at Disney as we've yet to go over winter.

Glad you enjoyed! Do you think a rollaway would fit in a room well at WL?

I highly doubt it would fit, the rooms at WL are rather small, best bet would be to simply call WL and check with them directly. They do have rooms available with bunk beds, depending on how many you're trying to sleep in the room.

Glad you had a great trip, we were there in August. We did not get as lucky with the weather (Tropical storm Fay!!!!) but still had a great time and LOVED this resort and everything about it!! We feel it is a great value compared to the other deluxes!!!

To the PP: The WL does not have rollaways. If you need it to fit five then you can only stay in a Deluxe room (very pricey). we are 5, and only got to stay here because my SIL came and got two rooms this time. (she'll have to come again next time because we love WL!!):goodvibes Reread your post, since you are a family of four, you'll be fine in a bunkbed room!! Have fun!

We were also there during Fay. I love WL - the best resort we've ever stayed at. Noticed you also stayed at BC - which did you enjoy most?
