Christmas in the Resorts

My mom and I are moving down to Florida in the beginning of December and will be spending the month enjoying our time before we start working again.

What types of special activities are there around the different resorts during the holidays? I've seen pictures of carolers at the Wilderness Lodge, are they still there? Any other must sees during the season?!

go over to the GF and see the hosue made of gingerbread, its really cool. Also over at the Epcot resorts they set up some great displays in the lobby.
I would do some resort hopping and check them all out.

All of your resorts are going to be decked out for christmas. I think it is the YC has a life size merry go round made of chocolate. Also the GF has a life size Gingerbread house. Their is also MVMCP at the magic kingdom, the osbourne family of dancing lights at HS( MGM) Candle light processional at Epcot. And of course all the parks are decked out in the christmas best.

The GF has an orchestra that plays in the afternoon and the WL has had castmembers singing Christmas carols in the afternoon and in the evening, there are guest chiors etc, performing in the lobby, during the two weeks leading up to Christmas. There are web sites that have posted past events at the resort hotels

Do you know where you find websites that post past events with times etc? Thanks

Yes. The one where I saw it was www.wdwnewsletter.com, and scroll down and on the left of the page go to resorts and then holiday or holiday happenings. It lists last years events but it gives you a good idea of what to expect because it does not change much from year to year. Hope this helps.
