list the thread or the promo you are talking about.

i'm not sure if we are thinking of the same thing.

thanks

i was thinking that was what the op was talking about.

we discussed it on another thread sometime back.

the unlimited tickets refers to the 7 day 2 park promo tickets, not the hhn tixs by itself.

if you look at the pricing, it shows you have to buy the hhn tickets. the list shows all the tickets and the cost for them.

that special $155 price is not for hhn tix only but for the 7 day promo tickets and one non night hhn ticket.

later tonight i will look for that older thread and pull it up.

they way it is posted, makes you think you are getting a deal on unlimited hhn event tickets. it is not. it is valid for the park tickets.

and, it looks like the stay and scream add on is the non peak night ticket that is included. those are the cheapest ones you probably can get.

came back to say, i figured the special incorrectly and the $155 pass is good for 7 consecutive hhn nights for that deal.
i elaborated in my post below goofy's.

you need to watch your dates you go in order to get the best deal on this promo of the travel company.
it can be done.

Mac,

The way I'm reading it, the tickets also give access to HHN too.

Unlimited admission to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 18 for up to seven (7) consecutive days (seven [7] days includes first day of use).

If you scroll down the page past the houses, it explains more and does indeed include unlimited HHN access. The pass with just one night HHN ticket is listed below the unlimited access ticket.

Halloween Horror Nights & 2-Park Unlimited Ticket

Best Deal!! Get one (1) Guest admission to the Universal Studios Florida®, Universal’s Islands of Adventure®, Universal CityWalk® and Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights® 18 for a total of up to seven (7) calendar days during a seven (7) consecutive calendar day period which includes the first day of use. 2008 Halloween Horror event dates: September 26, 27, October 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, 31 or November 1, 2008. *Based upon availability

so what if it sells out that night? do i already have my ticket and will be able to get in no matter what?

now i got it......thanks goofy. i hate to give out wrong info. i dug around for that old thread and see we had the same confusion then too. we hashed around the unlimited portion statement and someone checked with dreams unlimited and was given the correct info.

it is a legit deal in answer to the op's question. you have to start your time period correctly in order to get the best deal out of it.

(i bought the FFP for $49.99 on the ap rate before they increased it on the 3rd day of the sale. i can use it for all non peak nights.)

if you go in the first 3 weekends on the peak nights, you can buy the hhn tix for $29.99 w/ap. or you can have someone that has the ap buy the tickets for you. ap holders can purchase 6 additional tickets on their ap # for the discount. that makes the price cheaper and there are no more than 4 nights in a 7 day row for that time period.

if you check the calendar, you would have to work it to get the most nights you can for it to be a great deal for you on the DU promo. the 5th week end and week days prior, is where you come out ahead on that deal.

(i am paying a lot less than the $155 for the 7 nights of hhn tickets, but am only attending 4 nights.)

since you already bought it, go and enjoy yourself at hhn.
if you are local and have the option of getting the most nights out of your ticket, then do so by all means. go starting october 22 and you can hit 5 nights of hhn.

if you went first on the opening night, you would only be able to use your pass for 3 hhn nights.

i'm looking at the calendar. you could only get 5 nights of usage at the most out of it. with that pass you would come out ahead with it if you used it on oct 22-26. that's the only 5 nights in a row i can see. that would be roughly $159.xx + tax if bought with an ap. your pass is $155.

i can not imagine any restrictions on you using the pass even if they sell out a night at hhn.
they take into account the online and advance ticket sales for the hard ticket event before they sell at the gate.

if they would stop sales for a sell out night, it would be at the gate.
that would not effect you.
you have your pass already and would not be denied entrance to hhn.

so what if it sells out that night? do i already have my ticket and will be able to get in no matter what?

That ticket should be just a valid as any other HHN ticket. In fact, with the day ticket included, you should take advantage of the stay and scream option and be in US prior to closing to beat the HHN crowds waiting outside the gate.

thanks alot everyone, that really helps, im from arizona and do not have a annual pass so i think this is my best deal, there is no print at home option though... is it really that big of a problem?

if you don't have an ap but have a friend that does, they can buy the tickets for you.

when you asked about the print at home option, are you talking about the $155 pass you bought?

did you chose kiosk pick up for it?

what dates are your plans for hhn?

come sign up on the hhn date thread.
you might find others going the same time you are.

i havent bought the pass yet, i'm trying to find the best deal on tickets.. and thats seeming like the best so far, how do i sign up for that, im new today to this site

if your travel time is not an issue, aim for attending HHN and universal for the Oct 22-3-4-5-6 dates.

you will get free entrance for those 5 days.

now that is a good deal.

i counted on the calendar for the dates dreams unlimited listed and those dates are the only ones in the 7 day period that you get the most out of your ticket.
