I was just wondering if there were any women out there who knew anything about the symptoms of perimenopause and possible solutions for this stage of life.

My body and mood are feeling a little off and I was wondering if this could be perimenopause.

Thanks.

I was wondering this today too.

I have been on the 3month Pills. Not supposed to get my "friend" until next wed the 24th Got it today. 15th. My mom tells me it could be the start of the change because my grandmom changed at 38 I'm 35.
My moods have been Nasty!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could help, I never really had any side affects to warn me that it was happening and I went though the change at 36.:scared1: I always seemed to have PMS once a month and even still do without the after affects now.:rotfl:

My Mom was 43 and thought she was going through the change. She went to the doctor and he told her to guess again... She had me a month after she turned 44. ;)

I'm 41 & haven't had a period since Dec. 2007. Earlier that year I experienced 2 months of hot flashes & that WAS IT. No other symptoms really. I am so THRILLED to be over with that time of the month!!:dance3:

This was just what happened to my mom. She was 42 though and had my brother. We are 21 years apart.:scared1:

You probably won't want to hear my story, but I will tell ya anyway:lmao:. I am 42. 2 years ago my cycle got a bit heavier, and then the cramps to beat all cramps started. Still have them and they get worse each month. They travel down my legs all the way to my knees. My moods are so off the wall that DH walks around apologizing for living:lmao:. My face breaks out monthly and I am learning to live with the lovely shade of red that my face turns about 3 times a day. And to make it all worse, when the DR. did the blood work to tell me where I was he said at the very beginning of perimenopause. God help us all at my house, PLEASE!!

I am 41 and you have just described me to a T. I have been beyond moody and my cycles are heavier and heavier w/ cramping. My DH is always telling me my face is red.

I am glad to see I have some company! I am 44 & my mood swings have been off the wall the past couple of years - I thought I was losing my mind! I went through all the hot flashes though when I was 32 - they thought I was gong through early menopause - don't want to do that again! I used to carry shirts around with me because I would be drenched in minutes. awful feeling. I wish the change would hurry up & be over - I am so over this -

Funny story about premenopause...Good friend of mine was advice by her OB/Gyn that she was just experiencing premenopause (she is 37.) Low behold she was not premenopause...prego with baby number 5! It was an unplanned surprise, but they are very happy about the news and expecting in December.
