OT: Any Vera Bradley deals?

My Dd wants a Vera Bradley "hipster" bag for her birthday. I have a problem paying that much for a 12 yr. old's purse when I don't pay that for my own. So, does anyone know how to save on Vera Bradley stuff? Most any color will do. I have checked the prices on Ebags but that's the best I've seen so far.

I just ordered a hipster on E-bags, that was the best deal I found out there also at this time. Considering the actual price I didn't think it was a bad deal and there are a lot of colors to choose from. The free shipping helped also. Plus I went thru E-bates and got another small % off. You could try bidding for one on E-bay, maybe you can do a bit better on there. I would love to know where I can get great deals because I am a "Vera Bradley Addict" It can get expensive but I love them.

Hello. I have a 12 y/o that loves Vera Bradley also. We have got deals on Ebay before. Our best deals have been at local stores. Do you have any small boutiques where you live? We have 2 close to us. They are both stores that sell high end pottery, Yankee candles and home things. They both also carry Vera Bradley. These stores will discount them when the pattern is discontinued or they come out with new ones. These kinds of stores are usually too small to advertise sales. If you have anything like this, you might want to stop in and check. Like I said, I have got some really good deals.

a hipster there.

The Vera Bradley website has hipsters in retired colors for 32.40 - that's 40% off. Our local Hallmark stores also put the retired colors 25-40% off. TJ Maxx had some Vera Bradley a couple of weeks ago, but there was just one pattern at my store and I didn't like it.

I have gotten good deals on Ebay. I got DD the Night Owl Hipster for $38.00 shipped, you just have to watch. Unfortunately after the 2nd time she used it, the snap pulled out of the fabric. The new Hipster is a REALLY bad design, it wasn't reinforced or anything just a snap in the fabric so when it pulled apart it ripped. Stick with the old design.

Good to know, thank you. Vera Bradley stands by their product. I realize you didn't buy it at a store but maybe you can still have it replaced. Check the VB website or ask at a specialty store near you that carry's them. You never know, it is worth a try.

If you have a Discover card, Crabtree and Evelyn is a store that they give double cashback rewards. So you use your reward money and it is doubled. I picked up a new style and am enjoying it.

If you get a hallmark coupon in the mail, you can use them toward the VB purchases..Sometimes it is $10 off of $50 or similar kind of discount. They also, like everyone has said, run sales on the discontinued patterns.
