Well, it's that time of year again - tomorrow starts the season with everyone without a loss - except of course the Redskins - man are they bad!

:cool1:  :cool1:  :dance3: :dance3: :cool1:  :cool1:

The schedule goes something like this - get up at 6:30 get the van packed by 7 or so - make sure I have the tickets and the beer - drive to son's apartment and pick him up - usually have to wake him up. Play with the dog while he gets dressed. Drive to Ralph Wilson Stadium and pull into Drive #2. Pay $20 for parking (that's with a $5 coupon!). Find a place to park, which is usually not too hard at this time in the morning 8:00 - 8:30.

Pull out the grill and cooler and crack a beer - usually a Moosehead or a large micro brew. Walk around a little, go to the radio stations sites - go back & crack another beer, read the paper, throw the football around, make fun of Seattle fans, crack more beer, eat some shrimp, chips, salsa - the usual. Between the two of us we usually go through a abou 1.5 cases of beer.

We usually start cooking around 11:30 - it'll be steak and baked potatoes tomorrow - when the Dolphins come town we usually eat fish :lmao:

The rock stations do all sorts of neat stuff and we go to of those - dunk tanks, games, all sorts of stuff. Friends always show up and we share beer!

I always wear a Pat Tilman jersey - because I got sick of buying new Bills jerseys every year. I figure he was a Ranger and I was a Ranger, he was an American hero and I was a ........, he was a world class athlete and I was a ......... oh well. 1 OUT OF 3 AIN'T BAD.

We usually break down and head in around 12:30.

We get out sometime around 4 and usually stay in the lot for about an hour eating stuff and talking to other fans - no beer though, we gotta drive. The parking lot is a mess getting out. 80,000 people don't leave anywhere gracefully at the same time.

Here are some pics from last year - I'll post some from morrow's game later.

MAN I LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR

Looks like fun :thumbsup2 I love football. DH and I are in a fantasy league and usually spend Sunday's watching the games. Our Lions were the best in the NFL up until game one. We will enjoy seeing what new ways they can come up with to blow their season :rotfl2:

Uhhhhh......did Becky see the pictures of the Ta-Ta's??? Yeah, yeah, I know....you posted them for Pete's benefit.:rotfl2:

the ladies tags were a little saggy, but she gets props for showing them to me.....

Congrats on the football season, condolences on being a bill fan. :lmao:

Go Patriots!

Wish we could tailgate but Gillette Stadium is a bit far away.

We'll be going to a local watering hole that has a Patriots fan base.

I have no idea what to expect this year.

But, Go Patriots!

It's official....Al has sent me two text messages...both before 11am, stating he was drinking copious amounts of beer and enjoying tailgating before the Bills game. He also called the weathermen lying b@st@rds because they said "no rain" and of course, it's raining!!

The Bills won today! I bet it was a fun time Al! Looking forward to the pics! :thumbsup2

I can't wait for tomorrow night!!!

Go Vikes!!!

Oh Roz.... I really liked you a LOT until you posted "Go Vikes"!:sad2:
I am a Packer Backer, myself (after the Bucs and the Bills, of course).

It was very nice to be working at THD today so I couldn't see the Bucs screw up their first game. Congrats to Rog. The better team won.

Great game -we got there about 8:15 and started drinking immediately:

There were a few bandstands. I walked around and took some pictures before crowds showed up but not too many people listen to the bands - they're all too busy drinking and eating:
