Can anyone tell me about the different Photo Sessions they offer on the Wonder ship. Is there more than one? Can you share some of your photos please so I can get an idea of what theycan do . I am hoping to get a nice family one to use for the Holidays
TIA

I know they offer them, but don't know much as far as price goes. The life style portraits you see though with the white backgrounds are offered daily and they really do a good job. No appt is necessary for these.

Sorry I reread you post....they offer pics with characters, different backgrounds, lifestyle (white background) and on CC. They do a really good job. Can't post one since I can never make it work! But I'm sure someone else will! :)

They do post times in the Navigators, which is why I thought these were "professional" "family" photography sessions, which most people did dress up for. But actually, these photos were available at the photo counter just like the rest, or at least that is where I saw lots of them. They were awesome and we are planning several for our next cruise. If I had known they were same price as other "on ship" photos I would have dressed up & drug rest of group there... for most candid shots we use our own cameras, bought a few of "theirs" that were really good because my DS really hated smiling back then, canine's grew in akwardly and he was so very self-concious (sp?). There were a few times they caught him smiling more naturally than we did, so I had to get a couple.

I thought the cost was going to be outrageous, but for a "good" family photo it is totally reasonable. I've priced photo sessions in our area, and some times the time alone is over a hundred dollars. And that doesn't even cover the pictures themselves. Sorry we didn't take these pictures before... We're planning on them in November though....

I have posted quite a few of our family photos in my trip report from our four night Wonder cruise in July. I also posted some lifestyle portraits that my girls had done. It was great and there really aren't any lines. After the photo, the next day you just go to shutters and find your photos. Very easY!

Here are a few:

Wow vatchr, these are awesome! As a first-timer too, I didn't even know about this!! Now I am so excited to make sure we get some taken! I love the girls' pirate costumes! And the sad face in the family pirate portrait is a classic! DS is notorious for melting down by the end of a trip and we always have to take a "memory" of his long faces! ;) I'm going to look for your trip report! One month to go!

Photographers regularly roam through the restaurants at dinner. As far as the professional ones with the backgrounds, they will post the various times & locations in the daily navigators. You just go & get in line - there are no "sitting fees" or anything. We had a late dinner seating so we went on our final night right when the evening session time opened up so we could get our turn in before dinner (the session started at like 7:00 or 7:30). There were only a couple other families that beat us to the line so the wait was short...by the time we were done tho the line was LONG...the photos were ready and on display at Shutters by about 10:30 pm! VERY quick!:thumbsup2 8x10's are $20 ea. and the lowest package they offer is $85 for (5) 8x10's - so you save like $15 if you purchase at least 5. It's nice that there are no sitting fees and you can see them almost immediately. We actually did back-to-back cruises on the Wonder this summer and only found a couple of pics that we were interested in on our 4 night cruise. So we asked them to hold them for us so we could see if there were any we wanted on our 3 night cruise in order to combine them and hit that magic number of 5. They did hold them and we were able to come up with 5 to purchase by the last night. So if you see one on display from early in your cruise I would suggest that you ask them to hold them for you until the end of the week so you can make an "informed" purchase!! That's the nice thing about these...they're on display at Shutters for you to look at any time and you can think about it before going thru with the purchase.:goodvibes (Vatchr - you got on the day we got off our 3 night!)

This one was taken at dinner on our first Pirate Night and is one we asked them to hold for us:

There was another photographer waiting right next to the first one to take pics on the stairs so we stopped there too:
