Dbl Dip - Food on Castaway Cay?

For those of you that have been on a recent Dbl Dip, were the food choices at Cookies BBQ different each day or the same?

AND

What was offered at Serenity Bay for both days?

We are just trying to figure out if we want to try and eat lunch at Serenity Bay and if so, if it would be a different menu.

Thanks for the help!

I wasn't over at Serenity Bay.... the food at Cookies was the same both days... burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, etc...

The food at Serenity Bay was different on the two days. The first day was more basic choices (burgers, etc) and the 2nd was was a bit more exotic (more seafood & traditional Caribbean flavors). Our servers told us at dinner on Nassau night (in between the two dips) that the lunch menu all over the island would be different on day 2. If you really wanted another burger or something, you could get it, though.

On the Aug. 10th sailing the food at Cookies was different on the two island days. Not sure about SErinity BAy as we only stop for lunch the second day and they had some great shrimp and salmon kabobs.

On our DD in June, there were a few choices at Cookie's that were different on the two days. Lots of things were the same (burgers, hot dogs, etc.), but I think they had steak instead of ribs on the second visit, a different fish selection, maybe a couple of different salad choices, etc.

Was on Wonder 8/10-8/14.

I only ate at Serenity Bay...don't know about choices at Cookies. However, at SB there was grilled salmon on the 1st day in addition to the standard fare. Also, the couscous at SB was fabulous...had several heaping portions both days.

I couldn't get enough of the fresh, juicy mango.

On the 2nd day at SB there were delicious shrimp/salmon kabobs. Great sauces for dipping too.

Regardless of the food choices, SB is a much calmer, relaxing choice than Cookies. My folks ate at Cookies the first day and after seeing SB later that afternoon decided they'd stay on SB the entire time for day two...and they did. They enjoyed the quietness of lunch there much better than the chaos of Cookies.

Make sure you indulge in the famous chocolate chip cookies and the "Drink of the Day." :goodvibes

This might be a stupid question...but on 5 DCL cruises (and 7 days spent at CC), I've never been to Serenity Bay. Is it possible to send one adult to the Serenity Bay buffet to get some of the special stuff (kabobs, shrimp, lobster, whatever), and they bring it back to Cookies for the adults? Or is that too far? The tram goes there, right?

Its pretty far, and the tram only runs about every 15 minutes, so, if you wait 15 minutes for the tram, then 15 minutes to get a tram back, it could be a long wait for lunch.

So it wasn't a dumb question! Thanks for the response. My DH might try it anyway, just to eat something different!

Or you sit with your kids while they eat, then hop the tram yourself and eat with your DH alone!

I'm planning on one lunch with my kids on day one of CC, and then probably a lunch by myself while they have some quality time at Scuttles Cove on Day 2!
