What gift can I give for Dad taking his entire family on land/sea vacation?

My father is taking all of his children,their spouses and grandchildren on a land/sea vacation this Fall. My sisters and I wanted to get him something and have it waiting in his stateroom when he and my mother arrived. What on earth should we give? I looked thru the Disney packet and saw the typical fruit basket-champagne, but thought there maybe something better...Thanks!

There are all kinds of things you can have waiting. You have to call to order. They still don't have a way to order these on line. Under Food and Beverage, the Bon Voyage is pretty nice. If they are celebrating something, you can even have their stateroom decorated. Flowers are nice too. Oh yeah, the Romance Basket is really nice too. Heck! If someone was taking me on a cruise, I might opt for all of the above!

Actually instead of a basket, I would probably issue an on board credit for him so he can do what he wants with it.

A friend of mine cruises Disney a few times a year, so for her bday present we issue a OBC to her cabin. When she arrives, there is a note card waiting for her and the amount of her OBC.

She uses it to book spa appts for herself. But your dad could use it for anything.

Also, Shirley from The Perfect Gift makes up great custom gift baskets that will be waiting in the cabin on arrival. You can also send down a personal item & she will include that in the basket as well - maybe a nice family album or something...

Very nice of your father. I would suggest a photo album. Then allow each of the families to take photos and give dad a copy. This will allow dad to keep in one place the smiling faces he created and enjoyed for years to come. This of course will be a vacation to remember. You may even want to scrapbook one or get with Shirley at Perfect Gift and get a couple of his favorite snacks or even get OBC for photos to be taken professional on board. Have a wonderful time.

Good idea! OP, another idea would be a to book a spa villa on a sea day for them. Oh, I would love it if my kids did that for me!

You could always get a group shot and put it in a matte signed by your families instead of the characters, then frame it. Something for him to look at and remember a wonderful trip!
