I will definitely be leaving my worries behind while in WDW. I am trying to do so now but you know how that goes. I was trying to be all zen tonight with the positive thinking. Deep breathing with my eyes closed and repeated to myself that I would succeed, I would become a nurse, even if it takes me 6 more years to do it, so long as I do it!

Well now that you know the history leading up to this trip perhaps I should tell you a little bit about the plans.

Our last trip we stayed at the Wilderness Lodge on the dining plan and it was absolutely lovely and I know that I will be staying there again someday, this trip however is a "budget" trip. We are trying to keep the costs as low as possible this time around for many different reasons, the main factor being that we three "kids" all have school to pay and save for.

The vacation will begin on August 19th, only 15 days from now! We will be flying JetBlue from Syracuse, NY. It is so much cheaper to fly from the States vs Canada and the airport in Syracuse is just as far as the airport in Toronto so really it is not out of our way to fly from there and the savings are significant.

Once we arrive in Orlando we will pick up our rental car from National ($150 for the week) and be on out way! Now don't worry folks, Mom and I will be the ones driving. This is what happened the last time we let Alek behind the wheel of a car.

We'll probably make a quick stop at the grocery store before checking in at the hotel in order to pick up some water and breakfast/snack foods for the hotel room.

We'll be arriving in the evening so no parks for us on arrival day, the plan is to just relax at the hotel, explore a bit, go swimming, and just rejoice in the fact that we are in Disney World. Some of my Dis buddies will also be staying at POP so maybe we will even get the chance to stalk them a bit that evening.
