Will WCC take over an hour?

I have ADR at wcc at 5:30pm, then a carriage ride at fw at 7:30pm. Will I have time to get there on time? I guess how long will it take to get to fw from wcc?

Without a doubt. Most reviews I have read have expressed disapoointment in the time they spent in the restaurant.

We had a terrible experience there and were there for nearly 3 hours - and this with a late lunch. (2 PM)

We have eaten there on several occassions and I don't remember exactly how long it took, but I would plan on 1-1 1/2 hours. Of course it all depends on what you order. It may not take as long if you order the family style skillet as opposed to each ordering separately. You can then walk to Ft. Wilderness or take the boat. The boat may take the longest depending on when it arrives and the route that it is taking (WL-MK-FW or WL-FW-MK).

We have enjoyed our meals at WCC, it is a lot of fun, but we have never had anyplace else that we had to be right afterward.

You will be fine. If it makes you feel better if I have something like that plan I tell the server. They are more than happy to make things work out for you.

We arrived at 8:10pm for our 8:30 ADR and were finally seated about 9:40. We finished about 10:30. I'd plan more time.

WCC took forever for us too. We were really disappointed in the meal and how long it took. I think we had a 5:30 ADR and got out of there around 7:45.

Thank everyone, I will move it to 8pm. I would not wait over 30mins to be seated.... I would have thought most places take about an hour, I guess this is not one of them.

I always plan at least 1 1/2 hours for any TS meal at WDW...the last time we were at WCC it took us a good 30-40 minutes just to be seated. Once we were seated, it took at least an hour and 15 minutes for our meal (and that was WITHOUT eating dessert). In my opinion, it was simply a poor, unorganized waitress...I am hoping my experience in Sept is much better.

And don't be fooled into thinking you will make it on time, even when you have been seated, ordered & eaten your appetizer and meal in the first hour.

We spent over another hour just ordering dessert, eating dessert, waiting for the bill and paying the bill.

We planned to have dinner at WCC and then head over to Ft. Wilderness for the sing-a-long and movie. Needless to say, that didn't go the way we planned.

Just a quick transportation FYI

The fastest way from WCC to FW(for the carriage ride or the movie) is the bus(it is part of the FW internal bus system so it runs in a continual loop all day long), the carriage rides will be the first stop after WL, the movies would be the second.

WL and FW no longer share the MK boats, they each have there own.

There is a boat from WL, CR, FW. Before 3pm it goes clockwise(WL,CR,FW,WL) after 3pm it goes counterclockwise(WL,FW,CR,WL)

As with any transportation the waiting is often longer than the ride, once on the bus the ride to FW is about 5min.

Plan your evening accordingly.
