do you make ADR for simple resort dining?

I don't mean any restaurant at any of the deluxes. I'm talking the moderates for the sit-down breakfast specifically Maya Grill for breakfast buffet

The Disney dining lady said oh yes, make an ADR for everything, but this seems a little extreme to me

and... if I cancel an ADR is there a table that shows a time frame for the cancellation policy?

For TS restaurants, make the ADR ahead of time, or have a backup plan if you plan on trying to just walk up. If it's free dining time, that's even more important. You might get lucky, or you might not. But most of the restaurants, even in the resorts, are regularly booked up with ADRs these days.

Most cancellations have no penalty -only ones where they take your credit card for a deposit or full payment in advance would be an issue. There's not many like that overall.

o.k., so I made a LTT dinner and an OHana breakfast - there was no talk of cancellation fees etc, no exchange of credit card - but they do know every other detail of my trip like where we're staying & when.

So, if I made a breakfast ADR at Maya & we decide to cancel the night before, there would not be penalty?

No, there should not be a penalty. And we have stayed at CSR six times and we have never made an adr for Maya Grill for breakfast. We have always been able to walk in with less than a two minute wait.

Correct...only if you guaranteed the ADR with a credit card would there be a penalty if you didn't show and didn't cancel ahead of time. Signature dining, Cinderella's table, Princess Storybook, dinner shows, Fantasmic at MGM, etc would charge a penalty if you didn't keep or cancel your ADR. You are good to go! :thumbsup2
