Hi,
I used to have bookmarked a site of a company that traveled around and set up temporary stores in malls? They had mainly Disney park merchandise although some other odd stuff also. I think they were mainly in the west..also maybe, they own the one in Fullerton as their permanent store? Anyway, they came every year or so, and I'm thinking it might be time, but now I've lost the webstire with their schedule. Does anyone have this?
Thanks!

Never mind! Found it..it's ams-liquidation.com
Not coming to my area any time soon :(

Here's the worst part...they are based in a suburb of my city and they aren't coming here either! Bummer.

Thanks for the info. I have never heard of this before & I checked the website, they are in Philly right now until August and I live about 30 minutes from there.......guess where I will be going soon!!!

Thanks again

We just stopped in Philly on our way to New Jersey last night...........the gates were down and covered with black plastic. You could not see anything in there (not even if there was a light on!) We're headed back to Ohio on Sunday, so since it's less than 10 minutes off the turnpike, we're going to stop in again and see if it's open. I went to the mall customer service desk to see if they knew anything, but no one was there! I'll post if we have any luck on the way home!

I just went to the Franklin Mills Mall earlier this week and the storefront was dark, gate was down. I don't think they're set up for business yet. Not sure when their "opening" is, I was disappointed that they had advertised in local papers (with a coupon no less!!) and then weren't open to accept it!!...

Edited to add: OR I coulda read the whole thread before posting and realized this info had already been shared!!!!

I just looked at their website and now the Philly store is not listed! I e-mailed them and asked about it, so now I just have to wait and see (which really sucks because I am not a very patient person when it comes to wanting my Disney stuff!!!!!) Either way, I'm still making my very loving and understanding husband go there again -- even though he was not real happy about it the first time!! I could always bribe him with a Philly Steak & Cheese that is really from Philly!!!

Thanks for all the replies. I am glad I didnt drive all the way over there to see that they werent even open. I would have been really p.o.

If anyone hears anything about the Philly one, please post it for me.

Thanks in advance

I'm curious about it also - I just told my mom about it last night. I hate to see them go over there if it's not there. They're not overly fond of that mall.

I think this is the same group that was here last spring. They had all Disneyland stuff, nothing from WDW. The mgr said they aren't allowed to sell WDW, they've got their own contracts with other company's. I'm trying to remember what I got, a few t's for the kids, autograph books, some necklaces dd's wanted for Easter, pins, I know there was more but it's been a while. I know I got a spring jacket for dd9. They had some costumes and hockey jersey type shirts, stuffed animals. I remember them saying they don't restock, what they come in with is what they have. Some prices were good, some weren't.

I e-mailed them this morning and this is the response I received:

Dear Tammi,

Unfortunately, the store in Philadelphia was closed shortly after opening due to poor performance.

Thanks,

Customer Service

That really stinks!! Now I have to wait until next year to go outlet shopping in Florida.

We live between the Milpitas and Vacaville outlets.

I'll check them out and report back.
just don't tell DH...:rolleyes1

Thanks for the info, at least I didnt drive all the way there to be disappointed.

Yep..they have DL stuff. Last time I went they had alot of the 50th stuff..even scrapbooks..cheap..and some good Shag stuff..it's hit or miss though.

Checked out the Milpitas (CA) store.

Not impressed.

That didn't stop me from spending $90 :scared1:

I got a Hannah Montana sweatshirt & tinkerbelle hat for my niece for her bday.
All sales are final, so good for me that DN is thrilled with them.:cool1:

I hope to visit the Vacaville outlets for school shoes and will update upon my return.
