could anyone please let me know what you thought of this breakfast - all opinions wanted - good or bad

dining ressies are very slim for the first week in august - i would rather go to AK character breakfast but cannot get in

thanks

We love the breakfast there. DS's, 7 & 3, ask for it every year. The meal is family style with eggs, potatoes, meat (sausage or bacon, i think), mickey waffles, awesome juice, and if you like Lilo & Stitch, it's a great place to see them. The food is great and it's lots of fun also.

Is it not supposed to be good? I have heard good things about the food, and the characters too....I was happy to have booked DS's 6th b-day breakfast there, should I be reconsidering?

We will be there the same time and I tried to get us ressies for Donald's Breakfastausaurus at MK with no success also, but was very happy to get one at Ohana's. I have heard and read nothing but good things about the whole breakfast buffet experience there. Maybe we'll see you there.

We would say that just watching Stitch was worth the price of admission. My kids (16 DS, 11DD) loved it. The food was not bad. Good luck !! :thumbsup2

I have done walk in/standby here once and 3 times at Chef Mickey's. Never had a problem and we have a large group (7) got in within 10 minutes every time. I don't know about the one at AK, but if that's your preference why not try it.

We did O'Hana for breakfast in April. I really liked the food, and that it was family style, a nice break from the character buffets.
That being said, it was really crazy getting in there and waiting for to be seated.
And the interaction with Lilo and Stitch was great. They came over and really played with DD.

One of the best we have had. My DD8 ate more there than any other place. First thing she asked when she found out we were going back was can we eat at O'Hanas?

This is my youngest DDs favorite pick every year. She says that they have the best scrambled eggs on site. We eat here every year on our last day before we go home. :sad1:

O'hanas Best Friends Breakfast is our Families Favorite.
We will be eating there again this trip. I love the atmosphere
the food is great--especially the Juice!!
The Characters that we've seen there are:
Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto and Minnie.
Since we can't afford to stay at the POLY we enjoy
eating at "O'hanas" and touring the Resort and Grounds after eating.

Do not miss this breakfast! It was the most fun ever. The kids march around the room with maracas. Lilo was very sweet and patient and Stitch was a very naughty alien!

You need to interact with Stitch to get the whole experience. Don't think if it as just a kid thing. We imitated Elvis, told him really bad jokes and he totally got into it. Yet I saw him with a shy little boy and he got down and was very patient with him. Great character interactions!

Mickey was there too and I think Pluto. ADR was for 9:20 but we didn't get seated for about 40 minutes-that was the only hassle.

Food is just fine- it is one of those skillet breakfasts with eggs sausage, bacon, bisquits with Mickey waffles brought over seperately fron the skillet. The juice is a great as they say with mango and other juices blended together. The pineapple bread was good.

It was nothing super special-just breakfast foods-it was hot and the waitress was very nice-always there with coffee or juice or more bacon & eggs.

It is what it is. If your skillet turns out a little cold ask for more food.

The Poly was beautiful and we left for Studios right after breakfast.

We went here the last time we went to Disney and it was wonderful. The kids liked it so much that we will be doing it again in November. The food was good but the character interaction was the best part. Plus, my kids love Lilo and Stitch.

One of my favorite and I am an adult with no children. The food was really good and especially the juice and bread.

Breakfast at 'Ohana's is a family favorite and must do each trip. The character interaction is great and Stitch is a riot (he always seems to pick on DD16). The food is good too.

We loved our breakfast at Ohana's! I loved the food being brought out family style and everything was very good. My dd's loved it too. We loved the atmosphere of the Poly and it had great character interaction. Lilo is so cute. I think you will really enjoy it!!!

All these great reviews have me excited :woohoo:. I am going to Ohana's for breakfast in August and it will be our first time. We have done dinner there and my family and I loved it.

Best character breakfast we have had ... have done others (SM and DB) I think the food was much better at Ohana's. Course the characters are better at the other two - I dont care for lilo and stitch. We are booked again for this year ...
