Hollywood Brown Derby

We have ADRs for Hollywood Brown Derby for our upcoming trip. We were just wondering what you think about the Brown Derby for dinner. Thanks.

i really like it! i've been there 2 or 3 times now. once on the DxDDP, and once w/DDE. both were great! w/DDE, i ordered the famous cobb salad, and the famous grapefruit cake. the salad was awesome! cake was too tart for me. on the DxDDP, i got some sort of ravioli in broth for appy, tuna for entree, and banana tower for dessert. so good! both times, i ordered i think it's called the hollywood to drink. again

i really like it here, but have a hard time fitting it in sometimes, since i love 50's ptc more

I have to agree I like Prime Time better, too. My MIL loves Brown Derby so we do eat there when she goes and DH wants to eat there is DEC. the cobb salad is way too chopped up. It is in tiny pieces like a slaw, not like a salad. I guess it was a texture thing with me. Last year I got something else and had a much better experience. I remember the desert being really good. Very nice atmosphere. This year we are going for the Fantasmic Dinner Package.

We eat at HBBD frequently since the selections at DHS are so limited. I think it's okay but I would be severely disappointed if I had chosen it for a special meal. I had the tuna entree a few months ago and thought it had been prepared very nicely. We've also been fortunate to have very good service on each of our visits.

I think the HBD is a good choice. We really enjoyed our meal here, and had really excellent service. I think it's a nice haven from a crowded park.

I agree. We enjoy the food there quite a bit. We try and get there every other trip.

We go every trip b/c we love it.

The menus at allears and wdwinfo are not up to date. We went back in June. If I remember correclty the filet is now a strip. Also the grouper is made definitely. My mom, sister and I got the grouper and it was to die for. It's was the best fish dish we had at WDW the whole week. The cobb salad for 2 is still one of my favorite things. I'm just not real impressed with their desserts.

The appetizers and desserts were great (I had the crab cake, my husband had the cremini mushroom ravioli and for dessert I had the Strawberry Cheesecake and my husband had a Banana Dessert of some type) but the entrees were not as ood as those we had at other Signature restaurants. My husband felt the Glaze on his Salmon didn't match well with the fish and the polenta. I had the ahi tuna, and it was cooked well, but wasn't spectacular by any means. Our children thought it was okay, they didn't rave like they did at California Grill.

We tried it for lunch last month, and liked it so much we're going to go back for dinner during our Dec trip, as part of our Fantasmic! package.

We got the Fantasmic package too and loved it - the gf loved the cobb salad and grapefruit cake, I was partial to the creme brulee.

My DH got the crab cake for an app, it was very good!

My strawberry daquiri was yummy!

I had the steak,very good

Tim had some type of fish..he was happy with it

For dessert I had this banana thingy,I forget the name but OMG it was very good.
