Pete, so glad to hear you love Kevin Yee as well. I love that he tells it like it is, no excuses, no holds barred in his views on Disney. He's honest because he does truly care about the parks and wants to hold the exec's accountable for problems or issues that need to be addressed. Sometimes, I wince when I read his comments, but at least he's not a kool-aid drinker who just goes along with the company line. Best of all, he's a DIS'er!

And I almost forgot to mention, the Dining Guide Rocks!

Can't wait to listen to this weeks show. I'm still catching up on last weeks as we were in DL last week. As coincidence would have it I purchased Kevin's book Mousetrap while there and am thoroughly enjoying it, and I'm a guy who HATES reading.

I absolutely hate Kevin Yee and MiceAge. He and that site are DL fans, not WDW fans. DL can do no wrong and WDW does everything wrong. If you disagree, please link me to some stories that were written on MiceAge about WDW that praise it. Thanks!

I'm a big Yee fan as well, I'm glad he moved to Orlando last year... now that site gives us unfiltered looks at the parks on both coasts.
Perhaps they do point out the bad more than the good... but I see it as an act of love, since it seems Disney execs do listen to critism.

I can PM you the links, but a quick browse showed up 3 positive stories he recently wrote.... and I doubt he'd write multiple books (and he keeps on writing!) about a place he hates.

Had a few run ins with the people on that site online and in person. Not the best group of informed people IMO. I also dont think they praise DL as they are constantly complaining about DLR and how it should be run and how they could do so much better.

Al Lutz and several other columnists do focus on Disneyland, but Kevin focuses on WDW. Also, MiceChat (while linked with MiceAge) and MiceAge are really two different venues. You can't blame the bloggers for what the people on the MiceChat boards say. That would be like blaming Pete and the Squad for everything that is said on the DIS?? No?

Besides, Al Lutz is usuall 100% spot on with his blogs about Disneyland too.
