I love the blog. I bookmarked it as soon as it started and check it every day. The last month or so (except for the cruise) the entries have been few and far between. However, I'd rather not have a new blog entry than keep having entries from a teenager. Those entries would be better served on the teen board. Leave the blog to the grownups. Just MHO.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion. :)

I am a bit confused by your post though. The majority of the past few blog entries have been by members of the podcast crew, specifically John, Kevin, Regina, and Will. The last I checked, they weren't teens (and I say this nicely....no flames! lol).

With that being said, here and there John has asked a 13-year old to write a few small segments about things from a kid's perspective. I personally think that this is an interesting idea. I love hearing things from a different point-of-view.

Keep up the good work, podcast crew! :)

I agree, I enjoy reading Sarah's point of view...and her enthusiam!

I never understand comments like this though...don't see the need to post about it, if you don't like them, don't read them. :confused3

I would have to agree with WaltD4me, I love to hear a different point of view. Also I can understand why they don't update more often, they have to be incredibly busy between the business and the podcast they already give so much time to us, I am thankful for whatever we can get.

Loved hearing from a different perspective. Keep it up. One can always skip it if so desired.

Actually, I rather like it. And if John finds interesting things in his inbox from readers and listeners, I hope he posts them. You know we heard from Kevin and John on having dinner with WildeOscar, I'd love to read WildeOscar's version of events. :thumbsup2

You know.....I was actually thinking about this a few days ago before I even saw this post, so I'm not referring specifically to the OP here, but I'm thinking maybe, just maybe, we die hard fans can be just a touch, ummmmm, for lack of a better word, well, sort of a little....overwhelming?

I'm as big a fan as the next person....I check complusively for the podcast shows to be up and all that, but it seems like recently there have been alot of posts wanting this or that, where is the ______________ you talked about doing or when will the _______________ show be up? and "flipping" out a little because the shows aren't up first thing in the mornings.

I seriously mean no offense to ANYONE and this is NOT directed at anyone in particular, including the OP and I don't want to speak for the team, but I think they are still adjusting to the loss of Bob and maybe we should be a bit more patient with things for awhile. :grouphug:

Amen :)

I don't understand why a teenager should not be able to express their opinion! If John thinks its good, then he is in his right to put it up!

If you don't want to read a teenager's opinion, just don’t read that part of the blog. I think it is terribly rude to tell them to 'just go back to the teen board'. You are not constrained to one part of the site, why should they be?

If you want to complain, email them. I personally like reading other teenagers opinions and I hope that when I was 13 people didn't think of my posts that way.

My thoughts exactly! Well said.:thumbsup2

I do understand where the OP is coming from. I got to admit, I was less then thrilled with a teen blogging. I figured it was a one time thing, but if I am not mistaken this is the third. She had done a great job, I just expected the blogs to come from the people I look to as the Disney experts. I doubt the OP means any harm, he or she is probably just letting the Podcast crew know what they would like to see in future blogs.

Aren't teens part of the DIS community? I found the blog quite interesting and welcome perspectives of teenagers!

If you don't like a blog entry, don't read it. Looks like there were many who felt differently and enjoyed it.

I agree with others i quite enjoy the other perspective provided by younger wirtiers..I mean I am not that old lets just say I am closer to 30 than 20 so it is refreshing to get that younger persons perspective it kind of brings me back to when I first started going to WDW. But thats just my opinion :surfweb:

Wow, I think that's pretty rude. If you'd rather not read it, then don't.

There are plenty of young listeners to the podcast (my DD14 for one) that enjoy Sarah's Blogs.

I think it's great that there is a broad spectrum of views represented by the podcast team. Luckily for us the team tries to appeal to everyone.

As for the blogs being few and far between, geesh Bawb just died! Give the team a break. They have families, jobs and lives outside of the blog to deal with. :sad2:

People amaze me sometimes. If you don't have anything nice to say...Just MHO. :rolleyes1

Sorry, I had hot wings for dinner, guess I got a little fired up.

I'll go get some pie right now. ;)

Well, after all "I" did say it was my opinion. I'm not freakishly upset when the podcast is late--sometimes I even forget to listen to it at all. I fully understand the upheaval caused by Bawb's passing. I do like new entries but I didn't say I was suicidal over the gap lately, I just pointed out there was one.
As a teacher and a parent of a 13 year old, however, I would rather pass on the "Sarah" blogs, and I do--I didn't even read through this last one, and as it has been pointed out, that is my choice. I'd rather read some fun comments of Regina's or another review, not "golly gee willikers, I get to go to Disneyland!" Not all teens are bad, either, I have two. But they both know how to write, catycatcat.
